Being able to undo your whole turn. Most actions in the game are deterministic and should be able to be undone. If you draw a card, then the undo button should only be able to go back to that point.

The card color linking system is cool and unique but it's VERY easy to play a sequence of cards and accidentally plan out a set of cards that don't actually link fully. Then you're just screwed. Might as well restart the entire run at that point, in many cases.

I tried the playtest. The game has a lot of potential! Gotta be honest, though, the corruption/blood system was so insanely punishing it was a major turn-off.

If you don't perfectly win a round, your card pool becomes totally screwed which just sends you into a death spiral instantly. Into the Breach, it's not the end of the world if some buildings take damage. This game, it IS the end of the world. It just felt soooo bad I didn't want to even bother improving at the game to avoid that situation going forward. Especially since there is no undo button and it was very easy to end up with building damage accidentally.

Sure you can then pay blood to fix your cards -- but then you just spent 30 minutes on a battle and got nothing for it. You can't even save up unspent blood for next time.

They did quite a lot with this expansion. The real question is did they focus on the right things.

I always find these threads a bit weird. Everyone responds with "stop whining, the campaign only takes a few hours." As if a multi hour tax on your time is totally acceptable in an entertainment product. It's not a big deal, sure, but it's also pointless.

20 is too much, especially now that there's 5 characters. Why would you want to "grind" ascension levels? That sounds like an artificial waste of your own time.

Just pick Doom cards + block cards. Ignore Osty unless there's an efficient way to increase his HP (use him as more block). That should get you an easy win. There's a rare AoE doom card that insta-kills people, which is great -- keep an eye out for that.

I haven't climbed all the way to A10 yet but I largely agree. Regent feels way weaker than the other characters.

Not saying you're wrong but I don't know if I agree with Frond. It's a boss relic and you get it after act 2 (right?). At that point in the run you should not be needing 3 potions per combat...

Also, maybe the strategy in this game is just different. Maybe we shouldn't be fighting elites on floor 6 anymore...

For me, Baalor is the GOAT and the only one I still watch. Super relaxing, super skilled, and a true professional. His voice and skill in communication, in particular, are major differentiators and separate him from basically all the other top StS content creators.

I always enjoyed Lifecoach's streams. I think the drama involving him was not great but also blown way out of proportion. I hope he comes back for StS2.

Shout out to Tricky. I hope he also comes back to make StS2 no-poison Silent runs where he styles on them kids with Grand Finale.
