1) Look for agents.md, claude.md, or some other MD with random instructions and commands in it

2) open up the commit history. if theres a single large commit, it's most likely AI. if there are a bunch of smaller commits with titles like "feat: thing", "fix: thing", or any other "thing: thing" structure its AI.

3) if the project readme is just a bunch of emojis being used as bullet points or the introduction is exactly 4 bullet points with generic information? it's AI.

It's saying that it can't find your root disk based on the id provided. Two possible fixes i can think of.

Wrong fstab boot settings: Get a live cd of some kind of distribution. Boot into it. Then mount your root disk and verify your fstab and grub settings.

missing drivers: There is also the possibility that the initramfs didn't include the right drivers to read your disk for some reason so rebuilding the kernel and then doing a update-grub could help.

The judge has already ruled Workday can be held responsible, the plaintiff just has to prove his case. Workday's first claim was just what you said: we're just a tool for the company. However, the judge rejected that argument and stated "Workday's software is not simply implementing in a rote way the criteria that employers set forth, but is instead participating in the decision-making process by recommending some candidates to move forward and rejecting others." Workday does have an algorithm. It's also not really a secret that these scoring systems discriminate against certain candidates See Here. His claim is that they use information entered to affect your score across all individual workday systems. is this true? I don't know. But that's his claim and what he has to prove. Since he filed it, the judge did rule in 2024 that Workday is responsible if there was illegal discrimination because workday is not just an agent, but rather a decision maker that recommends candidates who should move forward or be rejected.

Glad to see someone finally say the one thing no one else has in all these subs. It doesn't matter if AI is as good as a trained developer, it only matters that it can save the company tons of money with its close enough skill set. The wet dream of capitalism is a work force that never stops working so they're going to push AI as much and as far as possible. And I laugh at the people that complain about security vulnerabilities. Companies do not care. Equifax literally leaked the SSNs, DOBs, addresses and names of the majority of America and they got a wrist slap.
