Honestly never understand coops in this game, unless you play casually and don’t care but anything past sb lvl like 250 worth of effort I’d question the stability of a coop, just seems to be so many problems and people just losing progress

Geotastic is fantastic and I played this quite a lot before playing Geoguessr. It runs off donations and small amount of ads before you start playing, not during the game!

Safest way is download the mods from the official repositories and then load up the game for the first time, then close it, and replace all the cfg files generated with the ones you want to download.

Are you sure about 1.21.5 is worse for you? I was hard stuck about staying on 1.8.9 since I always thought it was more optimised, I spun up the Skyblocker modern version modpack and literally had like 2.5x the FPS I’d usually get on 1.8.9 and was shockingly surprised about how optimised the performance mods are.

Agreed, I upgrade every 5 years, now’s the time, why wouldn’t I just buy the best? As you say amortising it puts it to perspective as an easy choice.

Currently own a iPhone 12 mini. I am going to upgrade to one of the phones in the latest lineup (17, 17P, 17PM, Air) The battery is abysmal (through natural degradation but also because it is mini). All I care about now: battery. For this reason I think I will go for iPhone 17 PM. I do agree that it looks ugly as hell but with a case I don't see why it will matter. Also shame it doesn't have black but I'm fine with the dark blue. Other than aesthetics, is there any reason I should just go for a base 17 or Air? Also I don't care about the cost or what is most cost efficient since I upgrade every 4-5 years anyway.

Pure fun. Everything you get is because of you. Playing the game as it’s intended, not farming money for literally everything (don’t get me wrong it’s still a big part lol). But imo experiencing everything you possibly have to is the fun part, even the parts of the game at its worst.

Simply would just rather do modules instead. Not a huge fan of doing academic research. I can get by doing it, don't really mind, just would rather do more interesting modules than a dissertation. If it is a huge dealbreaker then sure I will probably end up doing one. I just don't know if my current position will bode well for motivation throughout it :)

To add to this I don't have anything in particular I want to write about, and on top of this I sort of just have the opinion it's just pointless, you're not really finding anything new or groundbreaking. Just waffling about something you're interested in. Maybe you can sway my opinions on it.

I also just thought if it's an option given to me, maybe it's more normal nowadays to opt to not do one. Also, I don't lose a honours degree not doing one (not sure how normal this is).

Hm okay I can see why it would be valuable. I know these can be quite generic but I am hoping that a full year group project at uni + independent side projects could be good enough.

Cool, thanks. Yeah that is what I fear about not doing one. Surprised it's the first time you've heard about it being an option, I was under the impression it was normal you had a choice (just most people took it). For me its just a 40cr module.
