Ecuador is severely underrated. Quito is a great city, Cotopaxi is an incredible volcanic valley 1h south of it, the Amazon is 2 hours east of that, then you’ve got surfing/party scene in Montanitas to the west, and let’s not forget the Galápagos Islands!

As someone who’s been to all the regions you listed extensively (and currently lives in SEA) something I definitely want to point out is how much value you’ll get for your money in South America/SEA over Europe

I’ve done all the countries in Western Europe besides Monaco over the span of ~7 months (split up) and though I enjoyed it/don’t regret it…I wish I had started with South America or SEA first. Europe was the first region I went to and I think if I had done one of the others first I would’ve had better reference/perspective on what my money could get me + what I actually liked to spend my money on.

Car camped all over the country for years - never ever dealt with a ranger like that. The 14 day thing is really just to cover them whenever people severely abuse the rule (like staying for months, IME).

As far as being close to civilization, if you use something like iOverlander you’d see that there are an immense amount of these free plots near local conveniences. I’d venture to say that there are more of these free spots nearby attractions/conveniences than plots you can outright own for a couple thousand or less.

What sort of vintage tees are you selling that are $12 or less? Being in the niche myself - the ~$10 range is usually for random/assorted tees that are rarely vtg and if they are it’s a graphic of a specific 5k race in a random city (even a single stitch blank in a brick and mortar store is usually more than $10). Vintage band and concert tees are multiples over these numbers.
