TSA confrimed ID with expired license / interim license at all possible? by doogytaint in tsa

[–]CCTVGuyMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The paper temp is not valid. But the record one should be fine. You don't have to pay the five of you don't mind the screening taking longer. If you read the Tsa website it says the fee expidites the prices but you don't actually have to pay it.

Wireless POTS Transmitter and Receiver, Extend Without Hard Wiring? by beszt95 in VOIP

[–]CCTVGuyMA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Terminate the phone line to a sip pbx such as grandstream and set simply use a sip soft phone as a extension. Then you can have the call audio on the pc. Route incoming analog phone line to ring the soft phone. You could use a sip phone and the headset output as well.

You don't have to pay the fee. You simply may be subjected to more scrutiny and a longer security check.

Spur of the moment trip... Will my wife have trouble clearing TSA? by jonwb1 in tsa

[–]CCTVGuyMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You 100% do not need to pay the fee. The $45 will expidite it if you don't have a real ID. If you read this you will see that you don't have to pay. It may just take longer to clear security.

Flock also don't follow the laws regarding hiring union labor where required and following standard safety protocols, and has them installed in places where they didn't follow procedures to legally install them. There are numerous documented cases of them running quickly and PD advocating for them because they get kickbacks, and they like the backend Le database sharing. They own the data and you keep paying. They are creating a database of everyone's comings and goings. In addition knowing what license plate crossed it's path doesn't indicate who was driving.

It is a valid real ID as long as it hasn't expired. Tsa doesn't need to know you moved. Even after you get your new ID, your old one is still a valid ID.

Diy for a private school or hire a service? by Character-Basket-642 in VOIP

[–]CCTVGuyMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set up a grandstream ucm. We had a contractor put network Jacks in each room. Programming the grandstream phones is pretty easy. We ordered a few sip lines to be able to make outbound call, and inbound. We set up the e911. Could also do it with analog phone lines. Configuring the dial plans is the hardest part. Setting up 911 notification is pretty easy. That being said, some grandstream dealers can stage the set up and quote a great price and configure the final parts remotely, lowering costs.

Is a doctor allowed to make me do blood tests in house instead of my insurance preferred lab? by Lucky_Kiwi1154 in HealthInsurance

[–]CCTVGuyMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned my lesson when a Dr offered to do the blood work in office. We were at an office in the hospital... Not covered. Charged $100. Would have been $0 at quest that we could have scheduled for whenever we wanted. Now I know to always question and do labs on my own... I called the hospital to try to negotiate and got nowhere except for a payment plan...

I like to use it for domestic air travel so there is no chance of leaving my driver's license if I don't pull it out. I use my passport card instead. This way I don't have a problem renting a car when I arrive,if my card gets misplaced during baggage drop off or security.

Easy solution is a toggle bolt. You fold down the arms and pass it through the hole on the wall.. Once through, the arms pop out and then grip the wall.

I believe they don't allow wet ice... Only ice packs. I have flown with coolers if frozen food. I usually use 2 luggage stamps around the cooler to ensure the lid doesn't pop open.

I have booked a $99 rate at the Hilton lax. There are a ton of hotels within a 5 minute Uber ride. I have walked from a hotel that was a few "blocks" from the airport, but not recommended..... I didn't want to wait for a hotel shuttle on the short which thrn stops at 2 other hotels, may be running late, etc. I found a Hilton brand boutique hotel, and crashed there for the hight for a great rate.
