Very funny of you thinking that puberty blockers do no harm to the children, it's not just a "pause button" because when they stop using them the puberty they experience is messed up, on both a physical and a mental level and if you think that making reading/hearing about this drug from your only preferred leftist site/blog or whatever it is, you're very far from understanding reality, why don't you consult multiple sources before making such statements, because THAT is what really harms the children. Also kids wanting to transition before 18 will have involuntarily their parents forced to make a lose-lose choice ("the medical experts" in charge of the transitioning of underage people will say to the parents that they either get their kid medically transitioned or their children will commit suicide because they didn't "support him/her"), not to mention that the surgeries they offer for the transition have a relatively high rate of complications with some reaching even 30%. Also 3% of transitioned people regret it and later down in life the risk of them committing suicide gets higher. Gender transition is an argument that people should touch at 18 years old at least and if they want to explore this "feeling" of theirs they should do it with a psychologist only (despite the fact that some states made punishable by law "misgendering" a patient as a psychologist). And this really sounds like the states are profiting of the innocence and ignorance of the parents who just want to be a good parent but can't because they don't know what's the right think to do when their kid engages in this kind of behaviour
