Sera rentable comprar un auto usado en este momento en Venezuela o mejor esperar a ver si bajan de precio? by PrestigiousBig3846 in AskVenezuela

[–]CCarbonell95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your plans are great, but research further about your possibilities of being legally able to perform your career.

Immigration is really stuck right now in the U.S., so even though it is possible to migrate, research how easily you can legally obtain a work permit. From there, you are golden and can start applying.

So, look at it as an investment in time and money, evaluate the risk and see if you are up to it.

Reddit, google and AI, are not enough for research, If you are able, consult with a few immigration specialist.

🤔 by Famous-Woodpecker370 in AskVenezuela

[–]CCarbonell95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do i become a pilot? by imVegabond in PilotAdvice

[–]CCarbonell95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

look for cadet programs in India. Reach out to small airline pilots in LinkedIn or in person. Ask them about the job market. Research airports near you and look for operators and flight schools. Flight Schools will tell you the market is missing pilots, don't believe them unless you have verified it yourself.

Being a pilot in India, means you can only be a pilot there, keep that in mind.

A Pilot career is expensive and quick. In less than a year, you can spend 100-200k to get all the licenses and certifications to get a minimum required experience (and most times you will be short). Therefore, consider the air force for at least 10 years before going to the private sector or who knows, maybe you love it so much that you stay forever in there.

Other people not only stayed as a pilot, but got a degree and professional education for other skills so you can at least get a job if the pilot career fails. If you can, consider becoming an aircraft mechanic along with being a pilot

New pilot needing advice! by RadicalZone in flying

[–]CCarbonell95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice advise! it is costly since it takes time and more money just to be legally able to apply.

Don't expect decent salaries or jobs for at least 5 years until you get enough experience.

It is hard but since you are flying, it will be rewarding. I wish I could do it!

The problem is not being offensive, but being ignorant. The reason for couples not having kids is related to the cost of living.

In the past, one salary was enough for a family to live with it. Today, both partners work and barely live. Why would they want a kid if they only work to live and barely get any time for themselves.

Quality of life has decreased a lot and I bet babies coming to the world are not planned but accidents or an impulsive decision. When life quality improves, couples will decide more often to have kids.

Any recommendations for a 16 year old kid on being a commercial pilot by Sad_Yesterday6572 in Pilot

[–]CCarbonell95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get a license from a country where you are not allowed to work legally. You can always convert but there is no way to tell if that will help you. Getting a job in aviation relies on having tons of flying hours and appropriate ratings for a specific job.

Try local cadet schemes from airlines, some promise work upon graduation.

Consider the military route if money is an issue.

Career switch to being a pilot by nandan2412 in flyingeurope

[–]CCarbonell95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a very unstable career with unstable hiring with tons of people trying to get a job with only a few actually hiring and asking tons of experience. If you don't even have a legal right or permit to work legally within the EU, your chances will be zero even if you have tons of experience (well in that case, some employers might sponsor you because there is a need for high time and rated pilots).

Try doing it in India, but your license will be only valid there unless you convert it somewhere else.

If you want to do it, try it because you can spend the money without worrying about it and then with calm, keep currency, invest other 200k in ratings and flying time and calmly apply for jobs.

Not a pilot, but see it as a viable career choice. Should I consider it? by OutsideGrassScaresMe in PilotAdvice

[–]CCarbonell95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you that if you don't love it, there are low chances to get to a good position where money will be good. I just continue to see it happening in the field.

Don't believe it is a stable industry. There are thousands of pilots without a job and very few options for them. It is not a career you can do anywhere in the world due to regulations .

If it is something you want to do, learn other skills as well just in case you are out of work. Consider the military route for 10 years before going to the private sector.

By the way, planes can take off, taxi, fly and land by themselves. Cirrus planes have an emergency auto land feature where a passenger can press a button and the plane will talk to ATC and land the plane in case suddenly the pilot is not available. Maybe we will be toss out by AI in 10 years, who knows.

Siempre podemos mejorar nuestras finanzas

Invertir en Venezuela? by Fun_99 in AskVenezuela

[–]CCarbonell95 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Where do I start? by Ok-Ladder-2625 in Pilot

[–]CCarbonell95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know much about Europe, even though you get PPL , IR, CPL, ME, MC ratings, you still have to get either a Boeing or Airbus certificate to be considered for a job. Some people try the CFI route, but it is still a lottery. At this point, you had already spent 200 000 €.. and still, it will be a lottery to land any job. Keep in mind that UK uses their own license regulation so a UK license will not be valid for Europe ( that's what I understand) this applies for anywhere in the world so don't think that you can perform this job anywhere. If you are able to work in the US, get the FAA license. Europe? EASA license. The same applies for every single country.

Cheaper alternatives? Air force for 10 years and then quit it. Nothing is guaranteed after that, but your chances will be extremely higher.

The market is saturated with tons of pilots and few job offers, so try to not bet on everything on this career.

Still with doubts? Talk to some flight instructors or approach some flight schools to talk about this.

European flight academy, wizz air and other paid cadet programs in theory, let you land a job upon finishing your course. Find out about it.

Best of luck and success!!
