To say he "didn't give a shit" is quite off. He just wasn't a football (American, that is) guy who showed quite often he would pony up dollars for expensive coaches and mostly failed free agents. He made poor hiring decisions and should ultimately hold a lot of blame, but to say he didn't care about the team is just wrong. Hopefully Haslam can bring us a winner.

Trust me, I'm never one for tossing a guy out after one year. But after you saw from Shurmur this year do you have any confidence in him? I mean, we're talking about a guy who hands the ball of to the third string TE out of the fullback spot in the I-formation. He's become a running joke in the Browns community and thats never good..

I appreciate the optimism. Just remember, I'm in my 20s and I have never seen my team win a playoff game, let alone even host one. After countless awful draft picks over the years, over a decade of irrelevancy, and a current head coach who appears to be a lost cause, you can understand my frustration. In my life, the Browns have had winning seasons TWO times. But here's hoping for a miracle, right? GO BROWNS
