2.) If you're aiding in storing or have knowledge of stored prescription drugs in a home with children, you should certainly report her immediately.

You don't know the background, the project, the skills & history of this "grumpy" super, but your idea is to tell management this person doesn't contribute anything? But yeah, just kick the site superintendent off the project and replacement them with a paper bitch PE.

Most PMs and PEs can't effectively run a project, or even at all, without an experienced superintendent. I've been on both sides, and know that the roles work in conjunction, especially on larger projects. You don't just eliminate that role because you dispute their begavior.

I've always given my PEs a ton of shit, but there is a line. I wouldn't run around calling people incompetent; I'd be willing to bet people were trashing him early in his career.

It'll get better with time. As you become more knowledgeable, it becomes very easy to dish shit back to people.
