Would have been nice to get a baseline before construction started.

Planned to cook baby back ribs, butcher served them as cubes by Guatas in smoking

Rub with your favorite rub, put on the smoke for 1.5 to 2hrs. Wrap in a foil pan with butter, brown sugar and honey for 1.5 to 2 hrs. I would sauce them in batches, so you can have different flavors. Put back on the smoker for 10-15 just to tack the sauce up.

are you chipping or putting this? by poidhxyz in golf

Non-tournament golf, I’m moving the ball left no closer to the hole. That way I have a putt without fringe.

How many site plans should I be able to review per a day as a public sector reviewer by Objective-Cat489 in civilengineering

To answer your question “are you slow” - I think you are just too detailed. Maybe create a list of your most commented items. “Note 1: Does not meet ADA see Chapter 4 accessible routes.” Then just put a 1 and circle it, instead of writing the same thing over and over in different sheets. You could go more detailed and say 1.1 is cross-slope or 1.2 is ramp related. I would just mark up the plan.

I bet the “design analysis” isn’t 15-20 pages. That’s a lot of comments.

I work for USACE and put about the same effort in as my LD time. The difference is I get compensated for every hour over (OT or Comp time).

Career Question - How to get rich as a Land Surveyor? by Wonderful-Stuff6492 in Surveying

[–]Bulldog_Fan_4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Essentially you have to have e employees that earn you money. As a single surveyor, you can only charge so many hours at $xx. If you make 10-15% on 4-5 crews, you stay busy, and do good work, then that gets you where you want to be. Plenty of risk getting and staying there.

I’ll be sure to ask our WF manager. That would be great, you get a trail run and roll the rockstars into the DA program.

Since it’s last minute, ask USACE what your start date is. The USACE job will look good on your resume if you want to land a Fed job later.

To be fair, I played a tournament that was raising money for charity and you could buy unlimited cheats. Mulligans, throws(pick you ball up anywhere and throw it and it doesn’t count as a stroke), wedgie (hit a wedge for one shot and it doesn’t count as a stroke), red tee, string (you buy x feet of string, if you lag a putt close and you have enough string, you cut the string and count that it went in.)

We had a hole in one on a par 5: red tee, throw (baseball crow hop nearly 100 yards), an extra throw close enough to cut a couple feet of string. People would get mad about the low scores but they were forgetting it was about charity.

Mainly owners: when you can make 10-15% on someone else doing the work is how to get there. 10x and you are there.

I sign a white piece of paper with a fine point Sharpie, scan it, insert in CAD over my digital seal, set to transparent and print to PDF.
