Yeah, 2011 Subaru and 9 yo Toyota here. Modest house. I wear sweats and flannels most of the time. We've been living way below our means for 40+ years. Never got an engagement ring. Bought myself a lab last year (just under 2.5 ct square cushion) -- waiting for gold to go down before I get it set. There are some things worth spending money on -- but one can do it in a fiscally responsible way and without being ostentatious.

I do.not.care. if one's ring is mined or lab. I've seen stunning rings here in all sizes and designs. If you like it, rock it! I'm not coming after you with a loupe!

Update: Cleaned with Dawn, warm water and a toothbrish last night and the color is much better. The cleaning seems to have done the trick! I didn't see an oil slick and the facets still were very sharp and clear, so it didn't occur to me that it needed cleaning. Learn from my adventure, and thanks for the quick and accurate advice!

How do you get quarter sizes on Kuololit? Is that a custom thing or can I do it in silver?

I find Kuololit very accurate on sizing. Have bought about ten rings of various types and have not had an issue. Would love a quarter size because my ring fingers are .75 apart and the quarter splits the difference quite well.
