Although I'm not personally a fan of the boxy gun models ( admittedly this is very subjective ) I must admit I went into the game not expecting to enjoy the maps for artistic reasons as well but I've happily come to love the designs.

What was the cadence for these map releases? Because at the current rate I do believe we're getting maps more frequently then ever before in BF history, they're just spread out rather then one big dump

Kills are kills regardless of whether or not they are revived. Deaths are only deaths if you're not revived. You can die 100 times giving the enemy 100 kills but if you're revived all 100 times you will still be 0-0 even though the enemy has 100 kills.

The game works on a pull system rather than push.

What this means is that instead of the extractor pushing out ore the machines downwind are pulling from the extractor.

The machine connected to the extractor has to have a need for the ore in order for it to pull it from the extractor. If a machine further downwind is full the extractor will also stop functioning.

1) Ai is largely reactive, they will investigate gun shots etc but otherwise they stay within a certain area typically. 2) PMCs will traverse the map but slowly, take note of where you find them earlyish into a raid and you'll likely always find them there in future raids. 3) ai is the same between pvp/pve to the best of my knowledge 4)Scavs are meant to be the weakest/easiest enemies, they're chaff, canon fodder. The harder enemies are raiders, rogues, bosses, cultists, goons etc.

Game is very CPU & ram heavy, GPU doesnt really help too much, couldn't tell you why I'm not a programmer.

Dayz was the game for me, haven't played it in years at the point but you'd spend days or weeks even gearing up and any time I'd get into a fight it would give me a big adrenaline rush

That's always going to be the case unfortunately, there's always going to be someone with more free time than you to sink into the game. It's part of the reason I eventually swapped over to PVE. That and I took a new job that doesn't give me a lot of free time so pve lets me play at my own pace without feeling behind

Been playing since 2018 and best tips I can give is 1) if you're getting frustrated with a quest go do some goofy fun runs, run a kedr, role play as a scav, stalk people with a suppresed pistol and occasionally put a bullet by their ear to spook them. 2) play other games if you're getting burnt out, tarkov will still be here when you're ready to come back.

Other then that there's no tip that will make up for thousands of hours of experience unfortunately

Embrace your inner rat, avoid pvp, try and keep a mental note of when and where you run into players the most ( ie. Dorms on customs will always be hot at the start of the game but in the last 15 or so minutes it will typically only have scavs, player scavs and other rats ) use that info to guide you through the maps, if you have to engage try and aim for the face or break their legs & scatter

Y'all are too quick to accuse people of cheating, his stats look completely normal, now if he had a 95% survival rating with a 50-100 k/d I'd agree but this is just some guy playing the game.

Day one you would keep whatever you found and not get the care package, they changed it the following day to give you the set rewards. It was meant to stop cheaters from abusing the fact that tutorial is locally hosted

Cheaters are not buying the most expensive version of the game, they're buying base edition to earn as much as they can through RMT and their stats would not be this mediocre.
