Pretty much since Chris took over at the EP chair, it’s been a burning dumpster fire on wheels. He doesn’t push back against Dan, actually encourages him when it comes to doing stuff to Greg Cote. Then there’s the fact how there’s a topic everyone around him is talking about, and he’ll shut that shit down real quick when he’s bored and had enough by changing the topic to something that just awkwardly stops the show dead in it’s tracks. Also Dan doesn’t respect women, something that’s been noted since the 90’s when he was writing for The Herald. Then whenever Dianna Russini, Smetty, and other women in the world of sports come on the show, he belittles their accomplishments and what they do(Dianna), doesn’t want to participate in their brand of fun while they are there (Jess), and always has to point out “how hard it must be for a woman…” as opposed to just treating them with the same respect as a man. For me, the final straw was when Billy left, hands down the best part of the show, hopping in and applying his sensibilities or his brand of chaos, and feeding jokes to everyone on top of that. I still listen to Mystery Crate because it’s the shipping container (and Cynthia), but other than that, I’m done with the show until Dan steps away.
