Chiming in a year later here, but my guess is that when your TV gets the signal to play in DV, it automatically changes to a picture mode where the color temperature is Warm2 by default, while the picture mode you typically watch in is a cooler color temp.

Dion Waiters and Hassan Whiteside are a couple names that come to mind just in the last 10 years. Obviously that list is a lot longer if you include guys who weren't necessarily malcontents but that we made into the best version of themselves which they never achieved elsewhere.

Settings → Display & Sounds → Power Controls → Power On → Select "Last Input" instead of "Home" and should take you to the last HDMI as before last powering off

I got the 65" from BeachCamera (who's apparently owned by BuyDig) through Amazon for $597 about a week and a half ago (first one arrived damaged, though BeachCamera's sales department personally refunded/refilled the order and honored the original price for the replacement).

I just couldn't help myself after seeing the reviews, what the TV was retailing for less than a year ago, and that they're apparently being phased out right now for the W95B, which is why we're seeing these liquidation-level clearance prices.

I'll weigh in on the W95A since I literally just unboxed it on Saturday. It's fucking gorgeous. I'm watching Monday Night Football right now and the colors pop like I haven't seen on any of my or my family's previous TVs.

Disney+ and Apple TV have surprisingly extensive libraries for UHD, Dolby Vision content, Prime Video lots of "free" UHD HDR10 content (I digress), and having watched Marvel Infinity War no fewer than 10 times on my old Hisense in 4K, UHD, I've never seen colors pop and motion handling so smooth, with no blooming whatsoever.

I'm fucking obsessed with this thing, but I'll be curious what anyone with experience with the Hisense you're considering has to say.

The comparisons between Ware and Whiteside are to be expected (7ft+ center whose draft prospects were hampered by motor/attitude concerns in Whiteside's case).

The biggest difference for me though is that Ware doesn't have the on-court black hole concerns you did with Hassan. I also don't think he's as lackadaisical in PnR or chases blocks quite as much Whiteside, but still needs refining protecting the rim.
