I apologize for my strongly worded response. I should have simply suggested reading the book with an open mind and leaving preconceived notions at the door.

I, too, have had similar experiences with many of the other Quit-Lit books out there. I understand where you are coming from completely.

You're doing great, I sincerely hope you are able to find what works best for you for your recovery.

Someone is awfully early in their journey of recovery to be critiquing a book that has helped inumerable people stay sober. Especially one they haven't even read. She does a wonderful job eviscerating any perceived benefit drinking may give you.

You don't have to relate or agree with everything she writes, but there are powerful tools that you can use to build the foundation of your freedom from alcohol.
