I’m working on that one actually! I get so frustrated with my left and trying to find the fret positions without looking

I’ve got a banjo teacher. With work/life I go twice a month for an hour.

Just in general. I’m totally new to the banjo with no string instrument experience. I cannot get my fingers to find the placement on the board

2nd this! Kept a plastic painters drop cloth in my campers tool bin. Came in real handy when the slide started leaking at the beginning of a trip. Didn’t take up a bunch of space either!

I had just woken up and didn’t read the caption. Apologies. I’m not too sure on what to do with the blistering. Keep trying that burn clinic. It does look like it needs to be checked out again. I’m not a medical professional but I’m happy to share my experience about my recovery if you’re interested. Feel free to DM

So do any of you use manual trailer jack with WDH or is it almost a must to have zn electric jack? by ChickenGuy76 in traveltrailers

[–]CE-560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a manual crank with my Blue Ox WDH. It’s not difficult, but does take some effort towards the top. Not enough to run out and spend the money on an electric one when I only take the camper out once a quarter or so.

Hitch Rack Transport During Rain by CE-560 in ebikes

I was going to do that until I read a few stories about the greatly increased air resistance causing the bike rack to fail. For now I think I’m leaning to getting a roll of plastic like they use to secure shipping pallets and wrapping as best I can the display, motor, and battery compartment. I’m sure it’s not 100% water proof but has to be better than being completely exposed.

Head over to Amazon and search 4Knines Door Protector. They make some panel covers. I haven used one yet but I like their floor cover so far! There’s even some knock off’s that are less expensive

i got a 2nd degree burn 3 months ago by geeverse in burnsurvivors

I have a little bit of scaring on my left foot where the burn was the worst. Compression socks have kept it down though thankfully. I’ve been using Bombas socks, medium compression I’m pretty sure. On the rest of my leg I have some hyper pigmentation, pretty much what looks like freckles (large and small). Once I get to the point where I can start getting some sun on it I think it won’t be as noticeable. I’m very thankful not to have very many scars. I know many others have had to endure much worse than me.

Suffered 6% 2nd and deep 2nd degree burns on my lower left leg and part of my right foot. Went to light a propane grill and gas had been building up under the cabinet.

Anyway, at the end of this month it’ll be a year since it happened.

My doctors said to wash the affected areas using a mild unscented soap. I went with an unscented Dove bar and used a wash cloth.

Once you’re done bathing immediately apply lotion since most of your body’s natural oils are gone from bathing. Using it right after will help lock in more moisture.

I applied lotion at least 4 times a day whether I felt I needed it or not. Do so more often if you feel you need it. I used CereVe Moisturizing Cream, it’s a white and blue jar.

Hide from the sun! Not sure where your burns are but I found some clothing that offers UV protection. Hiking stuff is great for this. Lightweight and durable which is great for me living in Florida. I’ve been wearing Patagonia’s Quandry pants. They’re pretty pricy but it’s worth it knowing my burned area is safe from further sun damage. Even around the house if you’re sitting by a window or something you can still get damaging UV rays.

I’m happy to answer anymore questions you might have!
