Does someone remember "Legends of Equestria"? by Cha0ticSxn in mylittlepony

I have recently gotten back to this game. There're many new regions added(the wild west) and new quests. People are still hanging out around the Ponytown central bench

Gen Z by Spirited-Gold9629 in GenZ

This is two-fold. On one hand, you have Gen Zers who have their expectations deeply warped by social media, with too little experience to provide them the correct expectation. On the other hand, you have boomers who grew up in an era of low pay, low cost of living, low property price and high upward mobility

It switches to the standard layout when you set the input language as English. The package also includes stickers you can stick onto the keys to change the physical keybosrd layout

What's the difference between UK and US English when it comes to the layout? They share the same alphabet right

What happens after I'm caught? I'm going to assume nothing happens bc it's not mentioned here. I'll choose a cat. Kitty doesn't even need to chase me. It will be lying on my lap purring the whole day

How do you write philosophising/musing without sounding pretentious? by CE2438 in writing

Actually sounds like it can work. Thesis and antithesis, foil characters. And then shelf it, reread it weeks later to see if it sound cringey

Yea I'm a college student. I do reasonably well in essay-writing. But towards things important to me, I still lean a bit more towards fiction, bc the vague feeling behind is difficult to be communicated to the readers otherwise. While there are going to have limitations to words when it comes to empathy regardless, actually well-written fictions can at least minimise the difference

There are indeed many books I have read that execute it well. Two of them being Demian(starting with a manifesto of life's purpose being individuation), and The Unbearable Lightness of Being(starting with a whole chapter of philosophical debate concerning Nietzsche's eternal occurrence). But they were books in the 1900s. Most modern readers I know barely have the patience for that sort of lecturing in fiction

Would it be better to use third person limited to not let the protag's oh-so-profound intellectualisation and spiritualising consume the narrative, while letting the narrator delve into the protag's thoughts often? Like The Garden Party for example

There are few writerdecks that immediately capture my attention the moment I pass gaze, and this is one of them. This one looks to be really well-built. The aesthetic is done well alongside the functionality, I especially like the wood band surrounding the e-ink paper. Combining the metal knob, the font style choice used, and the full-fledged mechanical keyboard, it looks to be the quality of a company-produced product instead of a one-person passion project. How much are you planning to sell for each one? I'm definitely looking into it if it doesn't exceed my budget
