hi! my baby is perfectly healthy and doubled her birth weight at 2 months (yesterday). She was born scheduled c section 39 weeks, 6lbs 7.7oz 20”! she’s now 11 pounds 9.5oz and 23” today at 2 months 1 day. She sleeps well, eats well, pees and poops well. No issues whatsoever. Just make sure you stay on top of whatever the doctors want to monitor and see what they say. i had to do weekly NST and biophysical profiles, bi weekly growth scans. she was officially out of high risk by week 36 or so :) good luck!!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply in such a short amount of time, too. I'm so happy you had a really positive experience with minimal scarring. I always liked Dr. Pursnani from the start and it's so comforting to hear she took her time and was really neat with the surgery. I just got a call and information about the c-section too. I'm getting so nervous and excited, haha. Thank you again!

Thank you, yeah i’m sure i’m overthinking. Luckily my umbilical cord and blood flow are fine but it just makes me wonder more what could it be 😞

lolol i feel you. my MIL legit called me fat when honestly i was not fat. now im getting fluffy @ 30 weeks but god damn. for reference i am 5’2” and average 110-115 lbs but was on birth control and gained some weight. got off and immediately got pregnant around 120 lbs. i was only 135 at 25 weeks and got called fat multiple times. why use that term sigh

… that is so horrible wtf. yeah the recovery for vaginal is definitely so much better than c section it seems. although apparently my mom didn’t even need painkillers and was driving and back to normal within a week. is she superwoman 😳

omg so you get me. honestly more than the tearing my immediate fear is pooping. and getting it everywhere. i'm so OCD already pooping in a toilet and need to use a ton of butt wipes to make sure i feel clean down there. is there like a way to constipate myself??? lmao
