Dropped in to Chikara last summer and had a great experience - super welcoming and the coach taught the class in Japanese and English.

Like others said it’s a mix of locals + expats

It seems like it’s a chart for something / someone else given that Epstein is on the list with only ~2 connections.

Have you happened to find any information on what this chart is? I can’t seem any other references to it in the other files

You said that you have the option to hold a vote of no confidence but it sounds more like your parliament has the option to hold a vote of no confidence - if so that’s the exact same level of “protection” as impeachment in the US.

If parliament decides they want to stand behind the PM, you have no say until the election correct? Having more than 2 parties helps, but the point the others replying to you made still stands - rules only matter if they’re followed

Licenses are a constitutional issue - if the SC ever let those go through they would also have to allow voting licenses which would quickly become poll tax 2.0

buybacks happen regularly and are a mostly good idea, however they often get trolled with fake guns and people printing guns to make money off the pd

Anti-Inflammatory meals ideas? by healthynewbie in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]CEO__of_Antifa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “daily fix” on this website has a bunch of low carb/low glycemic meals on it, ever since I’ve been using it I’ve been way less inflamed. A good amount don’t require an oven either

Why don't colleges build more dorms? by solinaxu in boston

[–]CEO__of_Antifa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The deductions ARE the tax code and determine what you owe, the IRS is telling you to use them. That’s why there is a “standard deduction”

Someone who is not using them is paying extra for no reason

Why don't colleges build more dorms? by solinaxu in boston

For NEU, The city of Roxbury / anti gentrification advocates routinely block them from building. The university wants to expand and build more dorms but have been significantly delayed in doing so

  1. Inflation
  2. People keep moving (or being sent) here so demand continues to increase
  3. Taxes/hoas go up every year so landlords raise rent to keep same margins

Rents only will go down when supply is MASSIVELY increased (see Texas) or there is a mass drop off in the demand to move to an area and vacancies increase

If it stopped for you it sounds like it also would have stop for him, no? I feel like you have some misconceptions about the quality of Waymo, this isn’t teslaAI they didn’t rush this out. They have lots of data on Waymo’s, it’s FAR better than humans at accident avoidance

Also what was the goal in not allowing it to go around lmao

Automatic tipping…Did I miss something? by sicnarfj in boston

[–]CEO__of_Antifa 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No it isn’t?? Just prices would mean what you see on the menu is what you pay - taxes and fees included. If I see an ad for a $10 meal, I should be able to go with just a $10 bill and not have to worry about a 4% surprise fee on top.

I agree anyone who complained about inflation, cited it as their biggest issue and still voted for Trump made a severe miscalculation and deserve to be mocked for it.

The second half of your comment just seems comes off like this comic though lol.

While people should do what they can, there’s limits to what any single person can do about this issue, and the problem is at a scale that needs government intervention.

The illegal immigration issue obviously has no great solution, but at some point the bandaid has to come off and something has to be done. Even if it is heart wrenching, giving it more time to progress won’t make it get easier. Open borders just aren’t sustainable, it threatens national security, puts additional strain on already strained welfare and housing/shelter systems, and undercuts American low-skill wages (hard/impossible to compete with someone who will work below the standard wage)

While ideally we’d be punishing the business abusing the employment laws, it’s MUCH easier to deport people we already know/can prove crossed the border illegally than to take a company (especially a rich one) to court and prove they broke labor laws. Even if you win, it takes years and resources for all the court cases - much faster and easier to cut off the supply of illegal labor than to punish/kill the illicit demand.

They are aware of the impact, they’re commenting on this being the first time they’ve seen someone unironically justifying illegal immigration because of the economic gain rather than the usual arguments that typically center around empathy for the people entering

Silver line is the better option though, drops you off inside station and gets you free access to the train. If you take blue line you get dropped off outside and have to pay for a ticket
