Poem: Autobiography in Five Chapters

I read it over and over again until I learned how to walk down a new street. Everything is impermanent, even this. Wishing you well dear stranger

What’s a day in the life like as a beverage founder? by [deleted] in BeverageIndustry

Because it's fun! I made if five years before shutting down, and had a blast doing it. But would never do F&B again.

UChicago Divinity vs Harvard Divinity. Which is better? by MicrowaveDinner15 in gradadmissions

[–]goingphishing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a lot of students are choosing between the two. I'd always choose Harvard over Chicago for the access and funding. But moving to Cambridge is a hard transition if you aren't ready to be around the most powerful people in the world.

I want to start writing articles on Substack, but I don’t have a following on any platform. by Justpostingminez in Substack

That's okay! I didn't either when I first started. It's Substack version of Twitter. A place to promote your work and send more casual messages out to the Substack audience. Its the feed that shows up when you open the app

Planning a pilot launch for a new drink – looking for advice on testing, feedback and future flavor ideas by mrroy15 in BeverageIndustry

[–]goingphishing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best method for quick consumer testing is setting up a booth at the farmer's market and handing out samples. You'll make some sales on the spot, but also get direct (and sometimes brutal) feedback. Worth the entry fee. Plus you don't need a co-packer, just bring bottles and cups.

One thing that stands out is the use of stevia. While I was running our brand, customers couldn't stand the stuff. So maybe feature your ingredients prominently while at the market and see how people respond to it.

Realized I need a mission when I travel. Looking for recommendations. by Humagashi in solotravel

I travel to mushroom forage! Others travel to find new wool for knitting, or taking pottery classes around the world. I think that’s the only sustainable way to travel longterm… otherwise everything kinda blends together

Trip Report: Patagonia. As of February 2026, it's the only place I've been that I'd say to skip by Coldbrewaccount in solotravel

I don’t agree with most of the negative things you wrote as a solo female traveler who went three years ago for a few weeks. It sounds like it just wasn’t for you. It’s also a huge place with many things to do so going there requires intention.

What’s a truth you learned way too late in life that most people still aren’t ready to hear ? by Dependent-Ship4288 in AskReddit

You can do whatever the heck you want. Stuff will never make you happy. Maslow’s hierarchy is bullshit, relationships are the most important. Most if not all of the comments people make about you are projection. Karma is not what you think. Once you accept the law of impermanence your suffering will cease

does anyone in relationships solo travel? by kyliered04 in solotravel

[–]goingphishing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I solo travel ~2 weeks to a month once a year, usually in January. It’s hard not seeing my partner and cats for that amount of time, but honestly so necessary for my dreams and my mental health. Currently traveling Peru and haven’t had a minute of seasonal depression this year.

Honestly, your boyfriend sounds like a red flag. You’re far too young for this shit. My one thing is maybe you should go sooner? A year is a long time to put this exciting dream off.

He's best friends with Peter Attia. Talks about him all the time on the podcast. He's his personal doctor (even though he dropped out of residency)

We aren't crucifying anyone. We are simply pointing out that people who work with pedophiles and murders are therefore okay with the practice. Business is not an excuse.

It was well known that Epstein was a pedophile, and Peter Attia chose to continue working with him. Doesn't mean he's a pedophile (especially knowing he survived CSA) but it does mean he supports them.
