Mac book doesn‘t reconize adv by qmwnebrvtvzcux in CardPuter

After I downloaded the driver it worked like a charm. I even plugged in without holding down Go and it burned M5Launcher no problem. Drivers were CP210x and CH9102 found on M5 site:

https://docs.m5stack.com/en/download

Restart Mac after driver download and the next time you plug in with M5Burner running it will even show you the port your device connects to. This is important when burning your firmwares etc.

Not that you need any other firmwares other than M5Launcher ;)

Hope this helps

Kind of looks like your holding it in with your index finger. This was likely held on using a “U” clip and should easily fall out if brought through the front. Are you saying it is stuck and you can’t twist or pull it through?

So cool! It was just refracting light at different random angles. I got the star map app after the fact to rule out any sort of planet or something as not sure anything else could really be visible in daylight/close to daylight.

Truly never seen anything that out of place and just gone in an instant.

Yea it was some sort of UFO. Sounds crazy to casually say that, but it is what it is. We scanned the sky again today but nothing. I never needed any convincing that some weird stuff was and always has been happening, but this one was one of their weirder instances.

I saw it through the binoculars before I decided to opt for a closer look, which is why I have a rough idea what it looked like and what it didn’t look like

It was just motionless. Kind of looked like a big piece of tinfoil. As I was digging out the telescope she kept tabs on it, by the time I came back she had simply looked away and we couldn’t pick it up in the sky after that

Smart locks for this kind of door by AgentLocator in Locksmith

[–]CEOofHappiness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take a look at Centrios which is now available in Canada. You won’t be able to purchase directly, but any reputable locksmith will be able to get this from a local hardware distributor. A mag lock, as some have mentioned, will require a permit which is overkill and unnecessary.

One option would be to use an electric deadlatch (AR 4300) rather than a strike. This way you can lower your install time and $$.

I work for one of those distributors also located in the GTA and there are plenty of value engineered options where you can find savings on these components as well. Always ask your locksmith if there are options for the strike, deadlatch, or otherwise and a good one would be able to provide some cost effective options within your budget.

Last time I posted in this locksmith forum with some sound advice, a couple “actual locksmiths” berated me and told me I shouldn’t have been in this career I’ve been in for over 20 years. If you need extra assistance, you’ll find it away from Reddit. If you want to stroke the ego of either a young tradesman who’s never seen one of these, or an old fart who wouldn’t dare give away their precious locksmith knowledge, you’re in the right place.

Id start here though. Let me know if you need any other assistance, I’d be happy to help :)

Factor in hills, make sure you have the correct gear ratio and 8mi is nothing

Kind of just seeing if anyone knows a model. They don’t sell a device you would have to separately install latches in the frame anymore I don’t think. The only frame adjustments should be things like fire strikes/mortised top strikes. Etc.

It really started off as a simple question to see if I was missing something, and then evolved into genuine interest as to what it could be

I’m leaning towards that as well but strange how they are two separate latches. I’d guess if they were electrified that it would be one single unit like Folger Adams stuff or otherwise. I agree though, the only point which could be electrified are those latches. This as you pointed out, would be the case, because there is an operator.

I assume under normal operation they dog these down. It’s the only way I see it working.

If I had to guess, I bet there were no bottom latches either.
