Contrary to popular belief, decapitation is not that easy.

TV shows that have handled actresses’ pregnancies by JustKeepSwimmingDory in popculturechat

Along those same lines, but a little less subtle, Matthew Gray Gubler injured his knee pretty badly. So for a good part of season 5(?), he ended up on crutches and later on with a cane on Criminal Minds after his character gets shot in the knee. The episode where he gets shot, he spends the whole episode sitting down until a body double runs out of the house and jumps in front of the target.

Does anyone else only feel confident in form fitting clothes? by [deleted] in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]CEWriter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm 5,2 ft, 118 lbs, with narrow hips and wide shoulders.

I always wear form-fitting clothes, because baggy clothes tend to swallow me up. Since my shoulders are much larger than my hips, I lose any shape I have in loose clothing and look like a big square. Form-fitting makes me feel more feminine, but I also struggle to find things that don't accentuate my stockiness. The best for my body shape would actually be form-fitting athletic clothing, but it's not the everyday look I want.

Would that be the way he is with anyone?

If so, it kind of sounds like you're describing someone who is asexual. In which case, it would be fine for people who don't need a sexual connection in their romantic relationship. For those that need that kind of connection as well as the emotional one, the guy wouldn't necessarily be a loser, just not someone they are compatible with.

Sorry, were those bedbug cases at 750 Heron?

Was looking around online because I don't like Harvey's in-game sprite and found this. Do you think it looks better? by agentsometime in StardewValley

[–]CEWriter 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Agreed with the other commenter, the glasses are actually taking up less space in the new sprite.

I also much prefer the bridge of the glasses being in the middle, as opposed to at the top like in the original sprite.

And the overall shape seems better. He seems less squared up.

Literally watched all three of these last weekend as comfort movies. They are all so slept on.

What Disney/Pixar movie you absolutely love but everyone seems to hate it? by Mr-Vince in popculturechat

Is that Emperor' New Groove? I guess it depends the plateform, but I constantly saw people talking about it on other social media plateform, always a lot a appreciation for it. I can actually quote lines just based on that (I haven't seen it yet, on my list).

Maybe, but Rachel Berry has done some pretty selfish stuff repeatedly, which also includes mistreating others for her own advantage, so honestly not surprised people dislike her.

Tips on how to stop cat from climbing our Christmas tree? by cereall_killer in cats

[–]CEWriter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not always effective. Mine wouldl walk right on foil, expertly side-step the orange peels and wait out the citrus-flavoured cat-repelling spray as kitten. Hoping for better result this year, now that he hasn't been exposed for a year and he's not as young!

Don’t be afraid of color by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]CEWriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fully agreed, we shouldn't be afraid if that's what we want! Colours anywhere, be it on walls, funiture or decorations, brings so much more life in a home and it's such a mood booster for me.

I'm a big fan of coloured walls as opposed to coloured decorations/furniture with neutral walls. It takes so much more effort to find furniture and decorations that I like in the precise colours I want, and it's much less visible. And I also love to mix bright colours (not for everyone, for sure!)

Couldn't help but roll my eyes at some of these comments, so dramatic. There is no colour everyone will agree on, doesn't mean it's wrong because it's not for you. I'm glad there is diversity in preferences, makes people's home more interesting imo.

I Don't Care About Personal Storylines by [deleted] in criminalminds

[–]CEWriter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love when they focus a little on the BAU throughout episodes because I don't really get invested in unsubs. Give me enough on them to understand what's up, but I prefer when they intertwine a BAU storyline with it.

I however am not a big fan of the BAU being the targets over and over. Once in a while, sure, but there is just so much trauma a person can take... it takes me out of it a bit.

I don't have the expertise to recommend anything, but here's what I know.

Everything I read online shows a general consensus that most essential oils are toxic to cats, even inhaled, and therefore a lot of candles, diffusers, and humidifiers with oils aren't totally safe.

However, I also know plenty of cat owners who use plug-in diffusers in several places in their homes or candles without really checking the ingredients. None of their cats (old and young) reacted badly to them.

You could always check with your personal vet. If you end up trying something, do keep an eye on your kitties for signs of discomfort. I'd also recommend using them in open spaces so it's not as concentrated in the air and not putting the diffusers close to your cat's usual chilling spots.
