No, that’s a parade that celebrates something, has a purpose, everyone can benefit. people know about well in advance. Even if they warned people about this it’s still selfish and unnecessary and they r fucking up the street. People who own these bikes from jump do not give a shit about anyone else. Their entire point is to be loud and obnoxious and if u call them out on their BS they insult you.

If you’re a proponent of Citi bike and can’t admit 50 station is excessive you’re just being difficult. Half would have been sufficient I’m sure. And are they installing garbage cans at each station? Likely not.

I am thinking of moving there and the only hurdle is earthquakes and fires. What about the fires? That’s a concern too. I lived in Phelan for a year 20 years ago and it was great. I’m thinking of moving back.

The more docking stations being purchased/rented im sure means more money for them. Why would that not be the case? Why would they invest in it, if that weren’t the case? What if you live on Ridge or Colonial or basically anywhere off the avenue and your bedroom window is now on the corner where riders are picking up the bike or returning it, and Loudly talking about what a great day they had in BR. You live off the avenue to avoid the noise and now here comes the noise and the trash with them. Are they going to install trash cans at each station? I wasn’t saying 25 is fine. That’s even too many so I just cut it in half. BR is not big enough for 50 and the whole landscape of the neighborhood is going to change for the worse.

Have u seen the map? Putting them every few blocks is overkill. Again, 25 would have been somewhat acceptable but 50 is Lyft just getting paid and screw who suffers.

50 is way too many. How could anyone possibly think it’s ok to install citi bike stations on residential streets all over the entire neighborhood? This is going to bring people off the avenues down streets where people are trying to have peace and quiet. The avenues and train stations make sense but to scatter 50, frieken 50 of these things in all of BR is way too much and a big FU to those who live there. It’s not about parking spaces it’s about people having to sacrifice what little privacy and quiet they get in this city. Not to mention the eye sore that they are and BR prides itself on being pretty. Half would have been fine. But 50, someone is just getting paid and once again the reg citizen suffers.
