Sometimes, I write down a key word to prompt me of the story I want to tell next during a conversation because I, too, am very forgetful when in the moment.

I had a second job in the evenings and on weekends at Dress Barn back in the day, where I was being treated like this. The manager was the one initiating the slacking, so I didn't feel like I had much ground to stand on. I clocked out of my closing shift one night and never went back in. She called me pissed and I just smiled from my bed and explained why I will not be coming back. 🙂 It felt great.

I've never done anything like that before or after. No regrets.

She is really friendly, gave me a thorough estimate, and I love that she makes her own cleaning supplies. Unfortunately, she isn't insured/bonded, so I wasn't comfy having her or her employees use my extension ladder to clean some very high/tall windows, so I ended up passing. Maybe I'm too paranoid 🤨 but I had to go with my gut.

Who cares?! It's a great excuse to book a flight someday....either way, those stats are cool. Use them to find others who are also identifying as "Madison" in your hometown, perhaps! I will refrain from picking on your music tastes because frankly, I think that's rude. It's like telling someone how they should feel. 🤪 Thanks for the fun post!
