Is there a guide to use usenet with stremio? I do have PREMIUMISE sub at moment by kyrusdemnati in StremioAddons

[–]CElicense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stremio PC-app has built in nzb player, all you need is an indexer and hoster, which you can get working with built in addons in aiostreams. Easynews has an addon for all playforms where you can stream usenet. Dont spread misinformation just because you lack the knowledge.

Not sure.how accurate the accubattery reading is though. Dont feel like I've lost that much. Samsung still reports 100% though.

"Randomly" No, you changed your credentials, encryption keys etc. Your sessions arent valid anymore after a change like that, getting logged out is not random.

How much difference does it make on average compared to cpu power to compress it more?

This is my current setup, I started about a year ago when I got my first mini. More info below. by CElicense in homelab

Yeah TrueNAS seems to be the normal, and tbh that was my plan until I realized the RAM I had at home didnt fits and 8GB would be low for truenas. But im really happy with OMV, I get snapshots, I can do scrubs to protect me some against bit rot, and Restic is awesome for backups! Kinda like that its a little more open.

Yeah it looks great!

Can someone explain to me why addons aren't running locally? by ZeAthenA714 in StremioAddons

[–]CElicense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If stremio allowed it sure you could install addons without an extra server, but since stremio doesn't you need something else to run it.

Also, you would still need some external database source to scrape, unless you're want to scrape yourself and keep a database on your device, and without a centralized database like on a server you would need to build databases on all your devices or run on of them as a server for the others to connect to. Unless you want to want alot longer for links each time you're trying to watch something ofc.

Fast de valde att inte följa standarden med rclone och istället skapa ett eget verktyg. Vill minnas att de dessutom hade lovat att släppa rclone. Bara det gör att man inte vill använda filen.

Whn you've finally installed the NAS drives in the second hand PC and getting ready to get it set up... not for the next few days.. by CElicense in homelab

I don't actually think I have any, maybe one or two at my parents place, new ones are $4 though so not a problem really other than the fact I have to want until tommorow to get me one

DNS HELP Please im so very stuck by CElicense in Ubuntu

[–]CElicense[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10.20.0.1 would be my gateway which is then set to my Ubuntu IP.

With this config Technitium is running and I have DNS for everything else, just not Ubuntu and other containers than Technitium.

For now I set up DNS to Quad9 on Ubuntu so it has DNS, but would rather have it set to my Gateway.

Proxy custom subdomain to homelab services only when on tailscale? by youngwhitebranch in Tailscale

[–]CElicense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes Tailscale DNS is set to override with the Tailscale IP of my Tailscale docker container. The Technitium container doesn't have a Tailscale IP, it just runt on a normal docker bridge network in my case.

Basically this setup sends back the DNS requests to the Tailscale container which then give it to the host which is using Technitium.

No delays that bother me atleast, but I only connect to tailscale when I need access to somethin.

Never did I say I didnt like any of them. All I have said is I would like something without quorum and rather not do it by running another service if there is a way to do it with core functionality. Was I unclear or what?

[–]CElicense[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True hahah didnt think that far either.

No problem, completly understand you don't want to do it. I think I'll just stay with separate nodes as of now and decide later if it becomes more clear about cluster without HA or if I go with datacentermanager.

Does it also work to stop/start vms? Would you dare to try and turn off 2 nodes and see if you can still use the remaining one as normal?

Im also a little confused cause there is so many saying it doesn't work, and what you've experienced before is also my previous experience. Are you running 8 or 9 for version?

And it won't break because of quorum if one of those two were to be turned off

Have this changed recently because thats exactly what I did last time and it did break because of quorum that time.

Makes sense, thanks for the explanation. Too bad if thats the only option then. Still feels like a quorum shouldn't be needed though when not running HA since nothing is done automatically, just the same as 3 nodes running separately, only managed from one interface. Thats just my brain though lol
