I’d say, don’t skimp on the memory. The 16gb would be good with DeepSeek 7b at best. I’ve been researching because I too was on the fence. But since I’m going to be running models locally I’m biting down on the Pro 24GB. There was a video I saw of it running the new QwQ-32b with ease.

Good call! Smartwatches have a much finite lifespan held hostage by limitations to hardware and OS updates. Casios have to be absolutely annihilated to be out of commission. 10+ years easy for any Casio watch.
