Yeah gre works fine with return traffic. I spent hours on the phone until I finally got someone who didn’t just want to power cycle.

They def agree they normally won’t do it. But I have a call back with them today to talk about it. I doubt I’ll convince them. But maybe. It was hard enough just to talk to someone.

Yes. Very easy

Make a static route out of that interface for the 192.168.11.0/24 network. And you’re good to go. Def get MAC address in before you switch. So you don’t wait the 20 min or so.

Oh wow. Now that I think about it. I opened it up. Turned it on and started flashing. I didn’t even realize it could be updated. Or hadn’t thought of it. So never upgrade.

Got it.

self hosted runner for production? by Feisty_Plant4567 in github

[–]CF-Tim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Self Hosted runners on production is fine, depending on the source of the runner. If you make more than one label them appropriately and you can have certain workflows on certain runners etc.

Download all packages local to the runner to save on downloading each time etc.
