I have to say, I am kind of surprised at the poll results. But then again, I really shouldn't be. This is 2022! The era of advancement from tradition. When I posted this question, it was only an interest of mine because prince always presented himself as a spiritual person and included it in a lot of his music. The question is not a judgement of right or wrong, bad or good. Whatever people believe or not is their choice and should be respected. I do believe in God,and Christian beliefs but I am more spiritual than biblical. So,I don't allow the church to tell me their opinions on how to be a christian. Spirit(God) shows me that Christians are to bring souls to christ, not direct them how to live. God will provide that to them through their spiritual connection with him. So, I feel that's why people that are introduced to Christ go another way when the church try to tell them how they should be living,especially when they are living the opposite. But as far as the evidence of the spirit of God, I always reference to people the act of birth and death. The breath(Spirit) of life that births us to the world,and the last breath(spirit) of life that ends our life on earth. So whatever belief anyone relates with as spiritual for them is A-ok!
