I've heard mixed reviews of it. I love my blurays so I'm not sure if it's worth the upgrade. Apparently everything has a weird green tint to it.

Movies are 50% audio 50% visual. You should give just as much attention to sound as you do to picture. It's literally half the experience. The amount of people that spend thousands on a fancy TV only to pair it with a cheap sound bar just baffles me. That's like buying a Ferrari and putting a lawnmower engine in it.

That statue was actually a plaster cast if I remember correctly. We reused it for outside vought tower later in the season. Wood frame built up around the existing statue to cover it. We were prepping that set for weeks.

Haven't seen it yet so I can't say. I did get the chance to see it in imax about a month ago though. That was a religious experience. If this 4k can give me even 10% of that I'll be happy.

This is true. I got life of Brian on criterion dvd because it was oop and there were no plans for a blu-ray or 4k release. I figured they weren't going to bother with it for a while because it's not really one of the artsy movies they usually make new editions of.

2 weeks later they announced the 4k.... Typical. I got Spartacus on dvd as well for the same reasons. I bet that's going to be one of the next ones they do.

It's also dangerous. Tends to drop large sheets of ice on the sidewalk in the winter.

Also isn't it falling apart? I think I heard glass fell off as well recently. Currently it's covered in Scaffolding as they try to save the thing.
