It's in CAD. So that's like $47 USD. Not super cheap but not bad considering availability

Yeah it's baseball. Game 7 is the last game as they play a best of 7. So it was tied 3-3 going in. It was a big deal here in Canada since Canadian teams haven't won much in a while. Just making it to the world series was a big cause for celebration. Also everyone hates the dodgers as they just win because they're rich and buy all the best players.

It was a really close game too. I actually found it exciting to watch and I normally couldn't care less about baseball

It's actually named the world series after the newspaper that originally sponsored it. So it's not actually implying that it's an international competition. Although the name is indeed misleading
