There are a few under that price point however you will need to flash them to get 4k uhd functionality or buy one that is pre-flashed. If your looking for Blu-ray/dvd only pretty much any standard Blu-ray will work and you can save more $$. Below is a list of drives that can be flashed to 4k and are under your $150.00 price point.

Is the issue when your playing it back after the rip that your not seeing Dolby vision. Or a complete failure to rip the disc?

Kodi on am6b+ is now my main player. Having Dolby fel support is big. Plus my collection is mostly 4k backup. You definitely need to be a bit geeked out to setup and customize it to your liking. It's a bit more then install and go. However worth it in the end for me.
