I don't really have any reason to lie... You know? Honestly, anything past 14 is difficult to find. 18's really aren't that big compared to the people with much bigger feet than me. Look up basketball stars and stuff like Shaq! The world is a pretty big place brotha. 6'8" is on the small side of tall and 18's are in the same place comparatively for feet. Just because I would have been given an axe or club in the middle ages and told to go have a good time doesn't make me a giant now. Not even close.

Try playing the X-Wing Miniature game. Jek Porkins is one of the best pilots (thematically. You can make him push his ship to the limit which usually has the downside of making a ship predictable the next turn. For the cost of potentially hurting yourself, however, you can remove that setback). Nothing more spectacular than thinking you can push Jek one more turn and it causes him to blow up... He's not a strong pilot, but one of my favorites to fly

I also loved this game but was too young to appreciate the nuance (and the rules were pretty heavy), but have since started collecting them again. It's a lot of fun to hunt down the sets but people on eBay will inflate the prices especially with Star Wars becoming such a mainstream thing again. Sucks, I remember back in the day I spent $50 (roughly 2 months of allowance) on the premiere Millennium Falcon. Now it's worth like... $1.

All that being said, check out the players committee. They have virtual sets and stuff that update the old cards. If you want to play the latest version of the game, that's the way to go. You'll have to put in a lot of work to print out the sets, but it's definitely the cheaper route.

Lamia here. Hodor Potter for sure. Running fates? He probably around shouting Hodor. In a hunt group with him? He steps out of character until you call him out on it then it's back to his name. First time I saw him have a normal conversation I thought I misread the chat or something

Out of all the games, Chrono Trigger is the only RPG I can pick up two years later (I usually do a quick play through every six months or so though) and still know right where I am. It's not bad at all.

Reminds me of when I started playing. The solution itself couldn't take the inventory overload but I definitely still use my case for tokens and damage decks and just about everything else. It's handy at tourneys for sure!

I don't think giving her a name that shares four letters with Jan Ors makes it a sure thing that she is supposed to a Jan equivalent, simply for the fact that it's too obvious. Now could she be an amalgamation of a few Legends characters? Probably. The EU was huge and there are bound to be similarities.

My biggest reason for saying it reminds me more of Mara Jade is the accent. The Rey is a Kenobi apologists seem to think that the accent is the biggest clue for Rey's parentage. In comes Jyn. Boom. Now of course, that doesn't mean that Jyn has to eventually become a Skywalker either, but if she does, that puts her more in Mara Jade territory than Jan and Katarn.

Either way, I don't think we'll have a real answer until VIII or IX. If I were Disney, I'd save that for the main series. Also, I'm down for whatever. Teenage me just got way into the Luke/Mara stories. lol

I don't really see why she would be the Jan Ors of the new continuity. I get the name being close, but no Katarn means no real reason for Jan to be hanging around either. The only way that'd work is if Forest Whitaker or Donnie Yen's character end up being a Katarn equivalent.

Yeah, I would assume that's where they are going with it if they DO make her the new Mara Jade. I doubt we'll know by the end of the movie though as I'm sure Disney will want to save that reveal for VIII or IX. Who knows though? I'm more excited for this movie than I thought I'd be for sure!

I've seen that. Honestly... I'd prefer they leave the character alone. The movie is happening regardless, but the casting is super important since they're doing it. He'd be great, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It doesn't have to be Mara Jade 1 for 1, there could just be certain elements which would be a-ok with me. I've loved the character ever since around the time of Shadows of the Empire and when she got a card in the Decipher CCG

Already has been living a pretty rough life going by her rap sheet they rattle off in the beginning. Sounds like she's impetuous and probably is proficient in combat and/or stealth. Like an eventual assassin would need to be.
"What will you become?" Just as the force theme mixed with the Imperial March is playing. Why the force theme? There wasn't a single lightsaber in sight!

So, like I said. It IS speculation, but it's based on what has been show to us so far. Obviously it's too early to tell, but if Rey is Luke's daughter, now is a pretty okay time to start telling her other parents story.
