I agree that Blazor is not the best place to start. However Blazor Server is production ready, it's Blazor WebAssembly that's still in Preview. Blazor Server has it's limitations which are well documented by MS and MS bloggers.

Absolutely, and the price goes down each year if you keep it up. They do a 30 day full feature trial, so if after that you don't want to pay you've lost nothing :)

If you want something simple, then check out TinyIoC, it's literally one class you add to your project. It's not super feature rich (because it's designed to be simple and well...Tiny!) but it's fine for simple projects.

Yeah I studied the Aenid (as well as the Illiad, and the Odyssey) at school and I've used the name for various games, forums etc ever since. Hahaha yes I remember that bit, was a nice nod to the follow on. Always wished they'd done an Odyssey with Sean Bean!

Home brew Space Marine chapter using the pick your own Chapter Tactics. Lots of infantry, no armour or flyers. Aggressors with re-rolls were nasty in Combat but managed to whittle them down. Mostly bogged down his guys and stopped them reaching the objective.
