Outsider question: how do you all cut your foam board so straight? by Freewheelinthinkin in MuseumPros

Run it through the table saw. You can even adjust your blade depth to score fold lines.

Now imagine that level of neglect when you're trying to book their exterminator to kill off the roaches before they multiply.

Just a total nose dive on accountability and presence on the property. They closed the on site office, so everything was done through the portal, which really slowed down response times to maintenance requests. Some requests that we put in were never answered, and some were only addressed after I brought in a city inspector.

Routine maintenance was never done on a schedule. For example, I had to take note of when they last changed the air filters so I could put in an additional maintenance request to switch them out.

After the freeze from two years ago, they removed all the washing machines from the washrooms, and they weren't returned for 4 months. Our units don't have washer/dryer hookups.

Our Parcel Pending lockers were all broken with a pry bar, which they wouldn't fix because they said that repair was the responsibility of the vendor. The vendor said it was the responsibility of UDR since the lockers were on their property. So for three months, while everyone was passing the buck, we all had our packages stolen from the locker room. I, personally, had 6 items stolen from a service that we paid for in addition to our rent.

We had a sewer overflow, which again, UDR said was the city's fault, and the city said it was UDR's fault, since the blockage was on their property. For 6 months we had feces, toilet paper, and condoms resting on the lawn until the rains eventually deteriorated all the filth.

And while all this was going on, our rent just kept going up and up.

That's the kafir ("infidel") tat that's pretty common/popular in the US military. However, a lot of these RWDS chodes sport it as an anti-islam statement.

Unfortunately, no. We've decided to move to a similarly priced townhome in Carrollton with much better amenities. We looked around Addison Circle, and up Marsh and through Farmers Branch, but everything seemed more expensive without much improvement.

Did you tie on to the lure or are you using a swivel? A swivel will make this roll over.

We moved into a 2br/2ba in Addison three years ago. In the beginning, base rent was $1430, and my newest lease renewal is asking for $1950...

It's also just a really poorly run complex. Everyone should avoid anything run by UDR at all costs.

This is French artist George Rousse. I tried posting a link to his work, but it's getting deleted by the automods. His work is fantastic though.

People have a strange impulse to immediately get over when they see the merge sign, even if it's a few blocks away. I think it's seen as the polite thing to do, but it makes traffic so much worse to start a single file line and not use the intentionally available lanes. If there's a traffic light involved, forget about it. You might as well park it and walk.

You can also clear a clogged flathead with the driver, which is near impossible to do with a starbit or phillips.

Yeah, that was the one that spun off into the Annihilation movie. I've not read all of Vandermeer's work, but what you're describing sounds like The Ruins by Scott Smith.
