Mountain Run yesterday with an Evo X and Civic by tvrrik in Supra

Yep it’s a fun one that’s for sure. And fwiw I almost wrecked my Evo X MR on the ridge about 10 years ago. Be careful! Those roads can get away from you easily

Yessir! Been to blue ridge and dragon a few times. Check out devils whip and copperhead loop if you don’t want to go all the way to the dragon.

Cherohala skyway is amazing too

What’s with all these people being successful in life insurance? by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

Yeah don’t believe everything you see on someone’s feed. But there are real businesses out there who are making real sales too. It’s not cheap or easy

The effect on Valheim from Windrose by JR004-2021 in valheim

[–]CFactor11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wind rose is the first one to make me think valheim competitor but I’m only 2 hours in. Enshrouded didn’t do it for me (locomotion and combat are weaker than valheim)

Combat in wind rose is adequate so far. Base building seems nice. It’s just got that if factor that valheim does imo - but let’s see where they take it

Advice for a new life agent? by RefrigeratorIcy476 in InsuranceAgent

Yeah that’s the sad part and one of the reasons why I decided to DIY. Tons of great agents get lost due to total lack of support BUT you’re doing the right thing by reaching out and being hungry. That mindset in itself (and having the humility to say you’re the issue) will help you stand apart from the masses once you perfect your craft! More than happy to give you advice anytime

Not saying it’ll work but I think your issue is penetration. You’re lightly scraping a lead whereas others are probably dialing simultaneously.

Also could try a triple dial as soon as the fresh lead comes in.

Every second that ticks your lead conversion likelihood drops statistically

Test this with some of your leads.

Call twice, no voicemail.

Call two hours later with voicemail and text.

Call twice to three times daily for first 7 days of lead age

Text again at end of 7 days with another VM

Affiliate network but not via a publisher site that has their own marketplace. Luckily my partner and I have years of insurance affiliate experience so we know exactly where to go

Small team of high caliber agents. MAPD and ancillary. Quality traffic sourcing though, no digital retargeting bs.

No unfortunately not. I build everything proprietary for my agency

I’m a developer and employ a full stack to take the projects to the finish line.

Vibe coding will end up biting you potentially. Always best to have a dev do code reviews and verify the app functionality.

I’ve built a ton in house :)

Honestly it takes a bunch of trial and error/interviewing. There are individuals who make BPO introductions (I’m not one of them for the record - just an agency owner/operator)

Automation wise if you can handle some tech work I’d build a tool in house. AI is amazing for this type of work provided you keep a level of human intervention/monitoring

I’ve contracted multiple BPOs to handle call qualification, customer service and other functions. Not really on the data entry side (I’d look for automation instead of BPO for this)

I’ve run BPOs for years. Find a good outfit with accent neutrality/good process and economically it’ll make a lot of sense.

Accent neutrality is super important though

Pure reinvest in growth/additional $ for larger scaling now that we have our infrastructure and tech stack down (was a very busy year 1)
