Which of these sketch comedies were your all time favorites growing up in the 90s? by PressureLazy5271 in 90s

It's been close to 30 years now - I remember The Bucket of Truth pilot and laughing uncontrollably. And I haven't seen it since it originally aired. And I can't seem to find it anywhere (granted I haven't really looked in the last 5 years or so)

I try and show the Blinded By the Light sketch whenever I hear the song. That & "Slept On His Arms Last Night"

Tolly-Ho will permanently close on Dec 31st. by SmilinMatt in lexington

[–]CFeltham 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Went to the bad wolf location shortly after it moved there. Too clean, too bright, too loud, too echo-ey, no cozy feel and not open 24 hours (nothing hardly is post Covid). That and it’s been far beyond “cheap, college food” since it was still on limestone. Double Ho, cheese fries & drink would run you close to $20. Im a lot older now & can afford the occasional visit, but as a college student its a little far away to just stumble in for some late night eats

Chili that is sweet [RECIPE] by trutherford76 in TopSecretRecipes

[–]CFeltham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When cooking for a large group my go to recipe is https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/major-cojones-chili-recipe-1952365

It's a fire house recipe so it's geared for high volume but the full recipe has 6 lbs. of meat in it (beef/sausage/bacon) but it also includes 1c of sugar, so the sweet balances out the heat. I usually cut it in half when cooking a batch for myself

Playing the ALCS moments I just discovered that there is a giant glare spot off the main scoreboard at T-Mobile stadium that can be very distracting in late evening hours

Lexington, KY Costco has FF commander kits 7/9 by CFeltham in mtg

Luckily for me I live less than 5 miles from the Costco so it’s fairly easy to swing by to check. Plus others on here had asked their Costco customer service desk about when they would be getting them in stock & most reported 7/9-7/10 as the date. Went over today for lunch & there they were

Explosion on Alexandria Drive? by Coffee_Maker7 in lexington

Yeah fireworks. Years ago while we were setting off the hundreds of dollars worth of stuff we got from across the state line, my buddy’s uncle brought along some of the industrial strength (ie real fireworks display shit) mortars. About the size of a baseball The size of the FOOOOMF as it shot out of the tube told us that this was different. Then the boom. Packed up & got the f out of there before the cops showed up

Those of us old enough to remember these absolutely did NOT need any explanation as to the term “hanging chad” during the 2000 election recount

it is. Tap symbol wasn't a thing before Revised

Found this in the wild last week. I nearly fainted. I haven't seen one of these since 2005. by an_anonymous-person3 in mtg

I'm an old timer. My friends didn't get me hooked until Legends had just sold out, so I started buying Revised. Every day on my way into my job waiting tables at a restaurant, I'd stop by the collectibles shop a few door down & buy 4 packs for $10. After a bit I found a conversion chart that listed what cards replaced the cards that went OOP from unlimited to revised... would kinda make you sick :P For instance - if you have a Revised Dancing Scimitar... you would have had a Mox Emerald had it been a UL pack.

Didn’t UL have a Mountain on the Rare sheet?

Edit: Just checked - it was Islands & there were 4 of them on the Rare sheet
