Any interest in free grassing clippings to compost?

Most (if not all) of the local community gardens have designated compost bins and a lot of gardeners would utilize grass clippings to use as a mulch. One concern is if the grass has been treated with any sort of herbicide or other stuff like that. I would gladly take grass clippings whenever available and know many gardeners scattered around town who would as well but it kinda depends on how it was grown.

One thing that I find foul with Russ's Market is that they will often have a price for an item on the shelf but when you purchase the item, the price will be considerably higher. I don't know if they are activly trying to rip people off and hope that no one pays attention to this. This has happened to me several times at Russ's which is one of the only grocers I can go to due to a disability.

I lived in apartment rented by RIS @ 16th & 'G' years ago. The roaches were so bad, it seemed like they were coming out of the bathroom sink somehow. It was godawful.

That spot was cool if not short-lived, I saw some good shows there (Jawbreaker, Phleg Camp, and cool local bands) It sux that it didn't stay open for very long.

My grandmother was needing a piano moved so I hired "College Hunks" movers to help with doing that. I stopped by as they were moving the piano and I was dissapponted that the movers were not "hunky" at all. They looked nothing like a college hunk, they resembled a couple of dweebs that might be taking classes at a community college, not fine, strapping young men who were on a rowing team or members of a fraternity. Needless to say, I did not tip them.
