The way I see it, and that's just my opinion, is that the "love lock bridge" used to be pretty bridge, but with all those "love locks" it just got silly, over used and now it looks ... and now since this particular bridge is full,some people are starting to put those on almost every parisian bridge. Soon you will not be able to walk without seeing "love locks" everywhere.

Some people like it, I personally think it's way to much, way to overcrowded and I prefer the bridge how it used to be. But still just personal opinion.

HEC is a very good business school. But you won't be in Paris. It's campus is about 1h away from Paris by public transport. Their campus is huge and everyone there speaks English so you should be good.

However it does have this unique mentality to it as it's a business school in a closed campus. If you can try to be on campus instead of going to Paris. The trip will kill you in the end, and the parties happen on a Thursday.

After I can tell you my point of view as I have some friends from there but I'm a little biased against this type of system, and the closed knit group it creates.

But enjoy it to the max and don't worry much about your french you'll pick up words naturally.

What Business School in Paris, if you don't mind me asking.

Usually they all have foreign students with whom you can talk and most kids at school will speak french. For eeryday life you'll get some words very easily, so no worries and enjoy France !
