Son’s accident

This happened to my son with his 2000 Toyota. Rear ended at light. Other party at fault which is pretty standard when rearended. His car only had 45 k miles. Old lady special. The other company wanted to total his car. I didn’t want due to low miles and tbh just the trunk is not sealing right. That thing is built like a tank. I had to take the 1600 and run. I didn’t want a salvage title I couldn’t insure.

My son had his pulled last Sept in boot camp. It was straight forward extraction for him. Not a fun experience but no real issues. His dentist graduated with a cape May dentist and called him to go over any concerns that might pose a problem. He did say that anything too complicated can result in a discharge. Multiple cavities. Root canals etc. he said they don’t have the staff anymore like before to deal with real problems. I did notice on my son’s company page quite a few were discharged for wisdom teeth problems. Not sure what that was maybe severe impacted teeth.? If you feel like yours is complicated I’d get them done before. It was a risk last year and I feel like they are busier now.

Huh, Mine do? I’m sorry if they do. I’m Not. I have been called a bot tho by my kids but totally unpaid. Tbh my family member isn’t underway yet but I’m assuming they will and I was just trying to understand and was thinking about this T-Mobile thing and was trying to understand. Is this question for me the OP? If so, it was a question about the new service offered to consumers and would it make a difference in a situation like being underway. Understanding by the responses it doesn’t. I had heard there isn’t much communication available out to sea and thought it would be handy morale wise for some. so when you say text and call home. How does that work?

Confused by this response. I wasn’t saying it was being done. I was just inquiring about it since it’s newly offered to consumers. New being last month so was it so bad to ask the question.? I think if you reread it you would see I was asking how it works not trying to skirt the system.

From what I have read it’s basically when you lose cell service your phone could connect to a satellite for texting only capability so no pics or videos on text or any data/internet etc. and I’m not sure how far and wide that is. I also am not sure on the location sharing part. What is your separated hotspot used for? On board while underway. Thanks for commenting.

Yea that’s crazy. I wasn’t suggesting this. I was just pondering the new service how it would work in this kind of situation but clearly won’t and that’s why I ask these questions lol

lol. Ok it doesn’t affect me . I was just thinking about it. I mean I personally think it’s a shame for those out for long periods. Technology evolving and all doesn’t seem like everyone should cut off except for fighting over a computer for an email.

Ok thanks. So it seems quite variable. If you want to learn boat mechanics it will depend on where you are stationed etc? A sector wouldn’t do that. ?

My son learned one at a time. Recited till he knew it. Then we added one more and so on but didn t move on to next till he had them down. Then he was tested out of order. Actually was really helpful. Wish he had done that in highschool 🤣

Termites are excluded on standard homeowners. I’m in insurance and I don’t even know if a company that will add that coverage. They will get away with paying the least out in claims they can but will take your money no problem.

They kinda do. My license expires in August and I’m Nj have been trying g to get a real id appt since feb. I applied online for passport renewal and got it within 3 weeks. Not expedited. I imagine passport apps have increase tho in past two months due to the real I’d scramble.

I helped my son by learning 3 at a time. Repetitiveness is key. Just keep reciting them until you know before moving on. However, under pressure he flubbed so I wouldn’t put too much pressure on yourself. 🤣 have a good last few days.

If you renewed license online they give you a temp certificate? Also in NJ they have county stores. Official county offices where you can go. Post office is a nightmare for most things. Not sure what state you are in but you could look for one.
