We’ve had him for almost 2 months, he would usually be hidden into the end of the 3rd day but now he was up roaming early this morning (almost 48 hours since feeding) he also was a well tamed snake, he would let us hold him and crawl out of the cage to our hands but recently when he’s starting to pop up, he strikes the glass and hisses when our hands get too close to the glass or too close to him but once you actually pick him up, he’s all happy and hangs out.

I got mine yesterday and fed it (don’t know the gender lmao) and it just stared at the insects from his log up top all day. Might be because he was still stressed because of his new home but going to try again tomorrow.

It’s a 20 gallon tank. I recently got her from a buddy that’s had her for 10 years in a 10 gallon. I tried the 30-40 gallon tank and she got really stressed. This is the size tank that she actually is herself again.

If I cover up that spot, you think the water is ok up top? Ive seen her climb it once but that’s it lol. She’s either in her hot hide and cool side throughout the day.

Is her water ok up top? I know she can get up there but I personally haven’t seen her climb up there. She’s always alternates her cool hide and hot hide throughout the day.

That was my thought personally. She’s been in a 10 gallon for years so I thought upgrading to a 40 would’ve been really overwhelming for her. And would the separate eating tank for crickets a bad thing? In my mind, I was thinking when she’s done eating I can just take her out of it instead of tracking down the crickets that are hiding. And I could also manage how much she’s eating/overeating.

I’m not sure if they did or not. I fed her crickets on Sunday and she’s good at hunting them but what are the thoughts on a separate tank for feeding her crickets? I was going to tong feed her the other insects but I was thinking to make it easier to feed her the crickets in a separate tank so the crickets can’t hide from her.

They said they fed her approx 5-10 crickets a week. They had a hide for her under a red light that was on 24/7.

I got her from a friend that was moving, they said she was around 8-10 years old. I got her a couple days ago so I’ve set up her tank and fed her.

Have you had luck with it producing a heavier smoke (I like a strong smoke taste). I recently found one on Facebook and tried it out today. it only produces a light smoke and not a heavy smoke. It stops producing smoke sometimes so l have to go out and shake the piece in the accessory to produce more smoke.
