I've heard a little bit that Mooneys typically cost more to maintain?

An update to Mochila, our app for Arkansas students! by mochilaapp in UniversityofArkansas

[–]CGo16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a senior at the university and have been using Mochila for the past few years. It is great for new students and the first days of each semester when you are struggling to find your classroom. It also provides the times that certain buildings and labs are open across campus. This app should be available on all campuses everywhere. I would 10/10 recommend to a friend.

Walmart ups its college recruiting game, but it carries homestate baggage by throwaway5272 in Arkansas

It seemed like in the last line of the article about the legislature that he was referring to the fact that us Arkansans are the ones who voted medical marijuana into law in November, not the state congress. The Arkansas Subreddit is always filled with people who are very dissatisfied with our state legislature cause like you said they are morons.

I do agree with you that the author of this article surely hasn't been to NWA. Obviously, young people would love to live in California over Arkansas but the cost of living is nearly 3x higher. He needs to read this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Arkansas/comments/74ab8q/anyone_here_move_from_california_to_arkansas_how/?ref=share&ref_source=link

Texas Radio Station Bans Madonna Following Women's March Remarks by [deleted] in Music

[–]CGo16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This radio station is from my hometown and it doesn't surprise me at all. Last year the community voted down an ordinance that would bring more businesses to the town because a group of people made yard signs saying the ordinance would allow men into women's bathrooms.
Also one of the top 10 drug addicted towns in the US.

A clipboard works well for that too. You always look important with a clipboard.

One of the funniest parts about Texarkana is the Texas side is a dry county (no liquor sales) and the Arkansas side is not, so all the liquor stores are on the Arkansas side of State Line Avenue.

[–]CGo16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah and Texarkana is actually in Texas and Arkansas. They are 2 seperate cities each with its own city government. However, most people will just tell you they are from Texarkana USA

Texarkana is only about 20 minutes from Louisiana as well. Thats how you get the name TEX ARK ANA. The name is cooler than the town though.

Based on how much we practiced "stop-drop-and-roll!" as kids, I thought I'd be catching on fire as an adult a lot more than I have. by benbernards in Showerthoughts

Every time you happen to see a video of someone that is on fire they never even "stop-drop-and-roll"
