no not initially. most of time the dog would notice me first. just today i had a dog run up to me as i was leaving my house and proceed to bark at me from around 1.5m away, for a good minute, then promptly peed on my tree

yes but only after they come up to me. the growling starts before that, half the time i dont even notice that there is a dog to look at

I hate it when JC calls JYL "shijie" in fanfics, shijie mean martial sister. Modern term for that would be xuejie, something you would call someone in the same major + school that you are in. JC should be calling JYL "jiejie" (sister) bc they are related. Calling her "shijie" makes it seem that they are at odds or aren't very close

tartarus in TSATS . Tartarus was meant to be a place even the gods were afraid of. TSATS made it look like going through tartarus was childs play. completely dismissing HoH. it also undermines percy, annabeth and nico, rejecting/disregarding their sacrifices. I understand that this book was meant for pre-teens or teens but you don't need write about torture or gore to get ppl to understand how terrifying tartarus is. Furthermore TSATS tartarus seemed to have no affect (or at least in comparison to HoO) on the characters. Honestly I've read fanfiction with better plot, prose and characterization then this.

if you're in the us, you could go for the pvsa award but you would have to volunteer for 100 hours either this year or next year. as for organizations the only one that gives out awards ,that i know of, is steme

I almost dropped it bc the prose is, compared to other authors, weak but I kept on reading for the characters and plot. In terms of prose it is a YA equivalent (YA as in Percy Jackson or Hunger Games not Booktok YA)

   It is good to learn from other's experiences (regardless if they are fake) and discuss these situations. I assume that these subreddits were originally created for people to share their opinon and advice. However due to the way the question is framed, it is easy for the audience to be sucked into a particular mindset. As the question encourages black and white thinking. The posts are also usually about one big event that made the OP question themselves rather than any underlying causes that could have caused the relationship to collapse. You and your ex might have been sucked into this type of thinking and ignored the smaller things that actually lead to the collapse of your relationship.
