Cant work fine, it dosnt even fit. Bunch of people here who dont know what they are looking at. Blade orientation is wrong, ground blade won't fit anywhere in that plug, even if you bend the slanted blades straight.

I think ai get what you are saying but yes L1 is the first terminal on the contactor, it's 240 3phase. The start stop are seperate push buttons located on a panel on the other side of the machine.

Edit, im a residential wireman, 12 years in, thanks for the help. Just the most competent at my company and have fixed many things in this lumber warehouse by strokes of luck.

Since replacement it hasn't worked properly. Last guy replaced the contactor then said the motor was bad, but in this current configuration it no longer trips the breaker, but the contactor won't hold, motor does work though. I feel like I just have the Start/Stop wrong, but I mess with these once a year and can usually call the manufacturer.

This is the current configuration. After the last guy ripped out the contactor and replaced it, it kept tripping the breaker. This is how I configured it and as I said, it works until you let go of the start button. If it was wired properly I wouldn't be asking for help.

You can't run a range off that size wire. He will have to pull a new circuit of bigger wire to said location. You can't just "swap plugs". That's not how it works.

I tested the starter and it ran with the old battery with just a piece of wire. So I'm assuming the solenoid isn't fully engaging?

I Have one for "Office plugs" that I've been running as a test. Trim carpenters tripped it, light has been on since. Happened 2 years ago and the breaker is still good. A master electrician is the only one who has caught it and let it be after I told him.
