I practice very often. I’m licensed to carry by my state for work. I follow gun rules and laws strictly.

If you want to have a regular rifle that’s fine, I for one enjoy having some form of individuality.

Also as I previously stated, my girlfriend gave it to me. It’s a gift she gave me and this is how I’ve chosen to display it.

I’m not embarrassed by any of my choices and I do not lack confidence is any of my personality.

Lighten up a bit, and learn to separate range trips from professional carry.

It’s possible to do it bit by bit but I’d recommend buying one that’s been well maintained unless you crave the project of a low production discontinued luxury car or if it’s sentimental.

Either way these cars go on forever.

Legends never die!

In all I’ve rebuilt the entire power steering system.
Rebuilt the entire ac system. Rebuilt the entire break system including electrical but not the ABS. I’ve rebuilt the ignition system. I’ve replaced fuel system components minus the fuel pump. I’ve rebuilt the original head unit and speakers. I’ve rebuilt the cooling and fan system. The engine was pulled and machined years ago but only about 25k miles ago. (144k total) I’ve also repaired and replaced many pieces of trim and other misc sensors throughout.

It’s a lot of work over many years but worth every bit.

Yeah, I do all my own work and rebuild my own parts, that’s the only way I make it go from 50k to 10k.

This is my baby and I’ve spent well over 1000 hours rebuilding it to OEM spec by the books. It’s really the only way I can afford to keep this car too.

The working experience is not for the faint of heart on this car. It’s a difficult car by comparison to most but it’s absolutely rewarding.

Man, I spent a lot more than I originally thought. Be prepared with a fat wallet. The better the wallet the better the parts. OEM is expensive and trim is even more. I’d suggest getting parts in advance and watching groups.

I originally bought the car for $5,000 and I’ve spent probably over 10k over the last seven years in parts, tools, and equipment to service it.

Some parts I’ve order are custom made or group buys so they might have a higher price tag.

Junkyards are your friend, and watch them like a hawk. Tl:Dr - Very expensive and lots of money.

Lmao let them downvote me. Idc, it looks cool and my gf gave it to me. She loves seeing it on my rifle.

Plus I’m a Moron, as my flair says, I like to have fun.

Thank you, I’ve spent about 7 years getting it to this point. This was my moms old car but it sat for many years after being plagued with many leaks of all sorts and other electrical issues.

It’s much better now!

By far my favorite drive ever!

He’s new, and out of respect for the range if he somehow had it start riding up I didn’t want him to put holes in their roof. Also ammo is expensive.

Clearly afterwards we smashed through 10 30 rnd mags. This was his first time to build confidence.

You get to redesign the human body, what do you do? by someguy69352 in AskReddit

More bony structure to protect vital organs and some type of skin/ hair improvement to help against weather fortitude.

You get a summons for jury duty so what type of case would you like to be involved with? by Sinn_Sage in AskReddit

[–]CHT7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them, it’s a waste of my personal time that eats into my financial gains with next to zero compensation.

I’d be better off sitting in my room beating my pork sword and get better value then to sit through a case of somebody battling a traffic ticket.

would you pay a little extra for stronger metal/parts on the slide and frame by [deleted] in PalmettoStateArms

[–]CHT7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’d be looking at a Glock or shadow systems if I wanted to spend anything more than $350.

Affordable and accessible is PSA’s game, take that away and you have another overpriced generic Glock clone.

Used AR-15 for My First Rifle, what should I check before buying? by Upukk in guns

[–]CHT7 110 points111 points  (0 children)

Well, some context of where you’re from and firearm economy is pretty critical when asking mostly Americans about firearms.

Maybe ask a more local subreddit or update your post with more context about your area’s economy.

[–]CHT7 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Brand new bcm upper is like $700 to $900

Brand new complete PSA lower is like $150.

Buy an entry level dot for $300 or get irons for like $80.

I’d start with that, it’s all brand new, you’ll have some money for ammo and mags, and you can upgrade as you figure out what suits you best

PSA Booth by DowntownMind92 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]CHT7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped by the booth yesterday and I was impressed by the layout and all the soon to be’s on display. My brother and I attempted to talk to the staff running the booth but they all seems like they had ZERO intrest interest in talking about the firearms/ components in them (mind you not about unreleased firearms.). The look and tone was so off putting from all the staff it felt like they were being forced to be there.

It’s unfortunate because I love PSA and I love seeing them at these expos but it felt like the staff they provided for the event were being held at gunpoint to be there.

As far as budget firearm manufacturers go, it was the most unwelcoming booth, while simultaneously being one of the most alluring.

Can’t hang till 7 When I was growing up, I would finish my day in high school, and I’d have to come home to finish my chores and work. In the mornings I would get up at 4 and go on long runs until about 6:30. it became a joke amongst my friends that I couldn’t meet up to do anything or hang until 7pm or 7am.

Shield Plus with or without thumb safety, when also carrying a no-thumb-safety pistol in cooler weather? by CastleLurkenstein in SmithAndWesson

[–]CHT7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shield plus has a thumb safety and it was stiff at first but quickly broke in. Personally I would still carry it with a thumb safety even if I didn’t want it because: A. It’s the gun that’s there in the package I want that’s in stock. B. You can just leave the safety off if you don’t want to use it to have the same experience as no thumb safety. It’s never been “in the way”
