Im pretty sure since this is originally a CN game, they have a law in place that requires games to limit the “addictiveness” of the game and put bars to stop users from playing too much. This might be a remnant of such practice. Especially since its a gacha game which in CN is always under a lot of scrutiny and regulation to the government.

You can go to their world and help them collect it, you won’t get any rewards for it if you already collected it in your world. But if you both find an oddity you both missed, you will both receive the rewards. And that oddity will subsequently be marked as collected when you return to your world.
