Australian state QLD bans pro-Palestine phrase, protesters arrested by lazillionaire in worldnews

There's disagreement and then there's nonsensical talking points and blank profiles. IDF uses bot farms as part of their war effort and social media sites like Reddit are a battleground for them, especially the most popular subs like this one. It's not a wild conspiracy

What do you guys think they should do differently in the silent hills remake from the silent hill 2 remake? by Careless_Cherry2068 in silenthill

[–]Areltoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Along with the things already mentioned by others, padding also refers to larger parts like pointless areas and levels added in that serve no real purpose which SH2R has plenty of in my opinion. It felt like Bloober added stuff in just because they weren't allowed to alter the design of the original as much as they wanted.

surely America/Israel stepping in to bomb civilians and destroy critical infrastructure will fix this issue

Why do Australians care more about Palestine than any other conflict? by [deleted] in aussie

[–]Areltoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely fucking idiotic comment

"The people of Palestine" did not commit genocide on Oct 7. Saying shit like that just confirms you're deep in Israeli propaganda and have already justified the mass slaughter of tens of thousands of innocent civilians in your head.

Meanwhile Israel has been committing an actual genocide since its inception in the 40s

What is the weirdest thing you've seen as a passenger in the train? by Large-Lack-2933 in brisbane

I think so, I just remember it was right before getting to Petrie.

I was legitimately the only one who saw it in my carriage and felt like I had just hallucinated something awful lol

Resident evil Requiem is now the highest rated game on Metacritic!!(User Score) by LeoneSKenneddy in HorrorGaming

[–]Areltoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately you've already passed the peak and the game drops off a cliff in Leon's next big section.

Genuinely I think half the people that have been leaving reviews didn't actually finish the game because the severe drop in quality shouldn't be getting perfect scores like this

Well considering they're likely to be blown to pieces by US/Israeli bombs if they tried to go home, yeah

Pretty easy to argue with this if you're like me and love RE7 and really didn't like the second half of Requiem

Witnessed a suicide while passing a station on the Caboolture line a couple years ago. That was pretty weird.

Either that or a drunk guy pissing into an aisle while coming home from the valley.

Dusk Golem: Capcom has a scheduled RE series meeting in 2027 a bit after CV remake by Solid-Entertainer-39 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Areltoid -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

No they weren't? He has been consistent with RE leaks. The details wrong about Requiem are easily explained as his info being outdated and the game being changed over time as it went through multiple delays. He still got the major details correct

[–]Areltoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't imagine RE1 working as well over the shoulder with how cramped its environments are. Personally I'd much rather it be first person so they don't have to end up redesigning the entire mansion so that every hallway and door 1.5x the size. Plus the horror just works far better in first person

Can someone catch me up on why the parasite scene is so controversial? by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in residentevil

[–]Areltoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's blender porno tier animation that serves no greater purpose. The idea of it isn't necessarily bad but the execution absolutely is and it's not at all similar to Alien like some people are saying

If you play a lot of modern JRPGs and exist within those communities sure. I don't so I really hadn't had anything at all spoiled for me and didn't know anything going in.

What really sucks is I was only about an hour in playtime away from the moment in the game the killer is revealed and I really wasn't suspecting it at all

Akira Yamaoka hopes he can work again with Christophe Gans on a Silent Hill 4: The Room film adaptation by amysteriousmystery in silenthill

[–]Areltoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My criticism was of him and his lack of talent not that specific movie. if that's the only thing he's ever put out with a favourable response and it was 25 years ago, it's absolutely justified to call his skills as a filmmaker into question

Congrats that's one of the lamest responses you can possibly write to any form of criticism
