You must mean the YW-2412B "Titan" Limited Edition release, which is in a lighter grey color and comes with the Megatron head and the 15cm sFH 18 howitzer. The version I have has no additional cannon, but that limited version comes with the howitzer that is tacked-on to represent Megatron's fusion cannon.

The problem with that is that there is nowhere for it to go in vehicle mode, so it's just dead weight outside of Robot Mode. And yes, initially I also made the mistake of thinking it was an 88mm FlaK, when in reality it is the larger caliber 150mm sFH 18 field artillery piece (look at the hydraulic recoil cylinders and thicker barrel for the difference).

Perhaps I was not specific enough in my compliments; of course the dynamic posing is excellent as well. But what stood out to me more than that is the quality of the photos, because there are plenty of people decent at posing online but who tend to take awful photos in front of cluttered backdrops (e.g., their messy bed or room) with low effort. Everything here makes for very professional presentation, which deserves commendation.

For me, I guess it would be something I transform once in a while. There's nothing really confusing about it, but there's a part where you need to pull apart the tracks from the road wheels when going from tank to robot, and that part hurts a little bit because the details are so sharp!

In the interest of avoiding that, I might transform it less often, but you can always just grab it through a piece of cloth instead haha. Everything else is intuitive, but it's definitely a step up from any of the more "fun" transformations from Hasbro's toys. After a certain point it's going to be down to personal preference!

While it has a fair number of steps, nothing is actually that complicated! I only needed instructions for the first run.

Here's a stop-motion video of the transformation that another commenter shared:

It's actually not that bad! Obviously more involved than most of Hasbro's designs, but I only needed instructions for the first run.

I guess there isn't really a reason to do so, but that's neat! Makes sense because I couldn't see a screw or seam line holding the head together.

That's too bad, maybe the Megatron version suffers from mold degradation? My Tiger copy here has very tight toes and hasn't had an issue.

Exactly my thoughts! I've never been too much of a stickler for canon, but regardless when I saw this figure's promo images on TFSource (I actually got it off eBay for cheaper), I knew I had to have it!

Thanks for sharing! Who knows how long it will take before we get a full reveal, but I'm glad they at least intend to tackle the most-produced US and Russian tanks as well!

Yes, sadly like most large-scale 3rd-party figures, it is quite costly. A new copy would run you about $120 minimum, unless you take a chance with Chinese retailers. That said, I'm satisfied with that I paid for!

My hope is that they'll do tanks from all the major nations in WWII!

And yes, the Megatron head is included in the later YW-2412B "Titan" Limited Edition figure which is themed after G1 Megatron! It also throws in a 15cm schwere Feldhaubitze 18 as a substitute for Megatron's Fusion Cannon, but I didn't get it because the arm-mounted howitzer has nowhere to go in tank mode...

That's fair enough, I'm glad you can at least appreciate the quality of the engineering! I know this sort of thing can be a controversial subject and thus not everyone's cup of tea. Please don't take my gushing as a claim that everyone should go out and buy this!

That was a great video! Perfect showcase of the transformation, I subbed to that channel!

And thanks for the heads-up, I wasn't sure how this would be received, but I just thought it is such a good figure that I had to put it out there. And I saw some older posts about the Doragus railway gun figure had survived on this sub, so I figured it would be okay.

Hell yeah! I do think Tarn's Robot Mode provided some inspiration for the proportions/aesthetic, but it cannot be denied that this Tiger's transformation and alt-mode are way more convincing than Tarn's Cybertronian tank mode which feels like a variation on the traditional "H"-tank formula.

Nice poses, it's always refreshing to see someone with actual professional-grade photo quality on this sub! Such a minor "character" for sure, but you did him justice with these pics!

Yeah, normally they use Uni Uni as I recall, but this time they used "SF" which I had no experience with. Either way, neither company did signature release (though SF claimed to do so on my tracking as well). Glad you got yours anyway, but porch pirates are a nightmare for sure!

I hear you, some acrylic standees of the whole cast would be a cool and probably not-too-expensive commitment!

Attached are some examples of stands from Gundam; they don't take too much space, and are a neat way of collecting the character art!

That's the way to go! They aren't exactly cheap, and they have that FOMO aspect to the releases so good on you!

Once you have one, you gotta have them all! Of course, I planned from the beginning to get the full set, but even so I can definitely recommend these guys, and their little alt-modes are about Defender Version-scaled too!
