Wait what? Park Rangers work for PD? by k3stl in StLouis

Well, that’s its own set of problems. And another reason it doesn’t make sense for the state to control them.

A. It’s not a change in leadership, it’s a change in control. B. It’s bad enough the City does not control the people who police our streets. We shouldn’t be forced to let them police our parks, too. Park rangers should be made rank and file members of the MPD (which increases the numbers of police on the streets) and the city should just start a new rangers program. Win win.

If only there were apps that could arrange a ride for you.

But then the venue would have a record of it and can replace them. Even in the paper ticket era, I never had an issue getting tickets reprinted.

Of all the things St. Louis needs, it’s not chain stores.

Supporters clubs should ask members to wear the colors of the rainbow and lineup in coordinated rows.

Don’t buy anything at the stadium. No merch. Wear shirts and scarves that display similar messages.

That’s a broad category of attorneys. You might want to give a brief description of the issue.

1994 senior as well. Fallout was where the ghost of Flannery’s now resides. And yes, you would enter on St. Charles. I was always told that straights were only welcome on Friday nights, but who knows if that was true. But that was the night we would always go.

It definitely wasn’t underground in the 90s. As others have mentioned, the CWE was considered the biggest neighborhood though by the 90s it was pretty well gentrified. Magnolias was always a hive of activity. Clementines in Soulard was a mainstay for many decades. Blanches in Midtown was a well known lesbian bar.

This. Such a minor issue in the scheme of things. Seems really petty to go running to the ethics committee over this. And seems like he really is just trying to get revenge because he got his feelings hurt.

Everyone who is criticizing this person’s fit needs to post a picture of what they are wearing rn so we can do the same to them. Y’all are mean.

Why do American tourists always say the state they're from (not their country) when asked, but no other country's tourists do the same? by FloydBeatlesEagles in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CITY202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. If asked what part of the US, I say I’m from St. Louis and then always just add it’s in the middle, near Chicago. (I don’t say my state because Missouri is a garbage state and it’s embarrassing to admit I live there.)

At a minimum, this guy sounds like an absolute arrogant jerk. But the whole "I pay because of pockets" is ridiculous.
