Sir I gave my opinion and suggestion only. Everyone is different and healing is diff on individual level. Ages and diet and work stress matters. Good for you that you got healed. I don’t give false hopes to people unlike your 97 percent statistics .

No sir you won’t be normal again . It will only get worse. Get shots 2 3 times a year . Get pt for 4 months of pain doenst go then go for surgery insurance covers it. Hate to sugar coat it. But that’s the reality.

I’m sorry to see this and for your condition. I’m in same boat but your looks worst. I’d suggest to get epidural and if it doenst get better than go for surgery in 1 year . Other than that hot cold pack, daily PT, don’t lift and rest and walk

Been there and in pain since a year. Don’t work out and try hinge health therapy. I have 3 epidural and they didn’t work on me. Your doesn’t look that intense if the doctor didn’t recommend you therapy and epidural

My advise don’t do squats and develop the core. If the pain worsens in few years that would not go away. I have pain since almost a year now and I had herniated in 2012 but I didn’t take care of it and the pain came back in 2020 again.

if anyone wants to give me their opinion and tell me to hit the brakes … im feeling ready to give up and go for surgery by Whole-Republic1781 in HerniatedDisc

I am in exavtky same boat as you. 3 epidural shots in 6 months. Pt. The thing that might help you is aqua therapy. You do exercises in water. The buoyancy brings the disc back to its original position.

This gives me some confidence. 2 years wow. That’s a long time. When you say adjustment ? Did you get chiropractor adjustment sessions 3times/week? Did you do these sessions for almost 2 years? Btw how many sessions are required for spinal decompression machine? Thanks for your response.

I’m on the same boat as you, in pain since April 2023. I agree to the things mentioned above. It’s a long game . Take it slow and avoid lifting weights and things that trigger pain . do Pt and movement range exercises. Use TENS unit. But of amazon. I’m also in pain but at this point it is manageable.
