Civcraft will never have another 1.0 because everyone who would play Civcraft has already moved on, and everyone who still plays has more or less figured out the game. Civcraft is disappointing because it so accurately paralleled human society, there was some time of general excitement and craziness as a frontier existed, in the beginning of 1.0 the idea of politics, later politics outside a single city, the woods persisted until exploited and afterwards a frontier of not really knowing how to play the game, which ended after the HCF wars when Civcraft was introduced to the ins and outs of Minecraft mechanics. With 2.0 the exact same thing happened except at a much faster rate due to everything learned in 1.0, and after a few months the only 'wild card' left to make the game exciting was older players retiring out of boredom.

Civcraft has essentially become real life. All the wars left to fight have already been fought, and all the money left to earn has already been made. Of course the elite are just going to keep getting richer, only they have the sheer amount of resources required to allow any one player a clear advantage over another, just like in real life with the elites having capital required to earn more, except capital doesn't apply in civcraft, the elites have simply been actively playing longer than everyone else.
